It would be fun if somebody made a Germany-Switzerland-Austria-Belgium-Netherlands-Liechtenstein-Luxemburg-Denmark map, and a Germany-Poland-France area map separately.

Maybe a Scandinavian map, maybe an Italian map, good ideas, or a Russian map to reenact the Bolshevik revolution.

Why not a map ...

Small map:
Made the army shadows for the small map as large as aestetically possible. Repositioned the coordinates.

Large map:
Is the large map OK?

It would be nice if JOTAs xml tool I used could just put double zeroes (00) on every shadow. That way it would be easier to see every shadow with the full extent of the numbers. (A single number digit fits fine anywhere but a two-digit number messes thing up).

strange but a few are now not good and in the map before they did fit good (on the tiny map)
that few are:
west security, bob, kyle, PBS and kenny (i hope i didn't forget one)
Like I stated before; the small map is a devil to get right. If it's too far left, one coordinate shift to the right ...

Remember:
It's really hard to get them dead centre on the small map. Some tolerance is needed there.

Ok. I've tweaked the armies.
It's really hard to get them dead centre on the small map though. Hope the result is both acceptable and playable.

strange...
I checked the map I posted and it doesn't say 800...
Checket the one I have on my harddrive (and uploaded to photobucket) and it says 800.
Could be that the 600 dpi is throwing sthing out of whack.

Try working in 600 dpi but then save the image your'e going to post as 300 dpi.

Way better! the lettering typeface is sweet. A bit on the large side maybe.
The bridges to the islands now need strengthening and the legend is still a bit too low-contrast though.
