I don't think anything would be here if something out there is not eternal. Now, an eternal something being a given. What is it?

Yes, something has to be eternal.

So instead of believing that the universe is eternal, you believe that a magical creature created the universe and that creature is ...

Oh, and for those of you who DON'T know, Atheism is a religion.

So by your definition believing that some god doesn`t exist is the same as believing it does?

If you believe that unicorns do not exist, then may I say that you are a member of the "No unicorns" religion? Is it a matter of faith ...

You can see the police cars in the background. They only start moving when the robbers are entering their car, so it`s obviously fake.

Funny though.

It's worked on the basis that one life is worth less than 5 lives - and so it's (arguably) the greater good.

I don`t agree with this statement. How do you measure the greater good? Maybe the guy you killed would have done something that saves thousands of lives, or whatever, you get the idea ...

Hmm, figures do seem to oscillate a lot from study to study.

I was always led to believe that Stalin had killed more people than Hitler and Mao(and by a fair margin) and that he had commited some cold hearted atrocities that would put Hitler to shame.

Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

Sorry, but for some reason this thread just made me think of Monty Python

pff... haggis mcmutton has forgotten that beer volcanoes and stripper factories only exist in heaven, because the flying spaghetti monster doesn't like people being happy... or something like that.

Well, technically yes. But I`m hoping that if we save enough midgits(yes, with an "i"), He might ...
