It looks like all adjacent regions connect to each other. Some impassibles like the river or walls would be welcome.

It is a good thing to make connections more clear than on the old map. Now Aland is clearly connected to Stockholm and not to Uppland.

But Oslo seems to touch Oppland and Hedmark. Maybe move the borders a bit so that Oslo really sits inside Akershus?

Do the 4 neutrals on each base have a purpose? if they were removed that might help motivate players to attack first,

The second colour pallet fits the theme nicely with a little dark undertone. Croatia only becomes a little hard to distinguish with the colour gradient and army circles.

The capitals are not CC capitals anymore. Maybe name them city's? Also a tower from an old wall could fit instead of the stars.
