Re: Lisbon Metro [14/2] V3 pg2/2

It still looks cool indeed. The public transportation style is okay I think. Maybe the grey line thickness could be a bit less to make them less prominent. How many neutrals do you have in mind?

The idea with a bonus for an amount of regions in a zone is not visible in the legend yet. Using zones ...

Re: Lisbon Metro 2030

-What u guys think about public transportation connections?
Like it White, Black or none?
Like you said public transportation is needed to avoid long chains of metro stations. What I would try is black lines.

-How many Neuts shoould be in those stations?
1/2/3 or none?
Revert to neutral 1 is ...

What do you mean with Attacks with conditional borders? If AEF only functions to fort between London and Bordeaux there is not much use in it.

Re: USA 2.1 [4 Feb 2013] images updated pg.33

It is on the small map not totally clear if there is a connection between Berlin and Waterville.

Also, could Gulfport move a bit to the left to be more clearly in MS? The border with FL is now not reallyu visible. New Orleans might then have to move a bit as well.

Re: The Great War- new graphics, January, 28, page 5

Firsly, looking forward to play this map.

For the Russian bonus legend I would say:
Russia incl. cities: 2
_ +2 Russian Empire
_ _ +1 Finland

The same can be for the Central Powers:
Ottoman Emire: 3
_ +1 Mesopotamia
Kingdom of Bulgaria
with Baltic states: 2

Are armies also part of the country ...

Re: Three Kingdoms of China - v4.1 [2013-01-29] p7

These two sound logical to me:

The first is the obvious solution break up some of the larger bonuses into smaller ones.

The second is a little different. You could scrap the +4 for all the capitals rule. I think that's a little bit of a tired convention and doesn't add much to the map anyway ...

Re: Three Kingdoms of China - v4.1 [2013-01-29] p7

I like this as well. Especially the four red lines as a frame and the paper texture. The mountains look good too. The filling of the continents is a bit massive and not exacly the same as the minimaps. Maybe just indicating the borders of the continents with the same colour as the minimaps would ...

With a metro feel I mean more orthogonal directions such as this:
http://www.rotaractorwiki.org/images/8/8c/Lisbon_metromap_2012.jpg

More natural directions can works as well, its just an idea. For the other lines I had thin black lines in mind to contast with the thick colored lines. here they ...

Re: Lisbon Metro 2030

The draft looks allready very good. Some coast line will be needed and more distinctive bus and taxi lines. Boats, busses and taxis need names as well. Why not go for a typical metro feel like Paris Metropolitain and London?

Re: Map based on control of resources

Interesting ideas.

Grain is necessary to feed troops...if you don't control grain (or if your armies are not linked to a grain supply), then any territory with more than three troops suffers -1 attrition each round. Control of two or more grains could, on the other hand, provide a +1 bonus. As ...

Re: CLASSIC CITIES: Moscow [7.12.12] V22-P14 GFX

I would place Tsentralny on the top right. Then most bonus names move anti-clockwise.

Also instead of "Inner suburbs +13" it could be "Tsentralny +13".

Yes, you can give a negative bonus to XBCYZ. If you mean that XYZ is a precondion for other bonuses it may become more complicated.

Re: Battle for the Spice Islands Pg4

If making the Spice Islands stand out more for gameplay clarity then accuracy of the map is not so important. You may increase the size of the spice islands on the main map. Also try to match the shape of the islands so that they are recognisable.

Can you mention what is an Armada just like you ...

Can Barrio Azul have a darker shade now that the blue is lighter? Especially in the legend it pops out.

I prefer as Pamoa asked for it. The Barrio Azul bonus might have to be a bit darker for legitibility.

I'm still missing something in both maps, call it a theme or something to relate to. Are there inhabitants on these islands? Some villages and roads like on the Oasis map could show this.

Hi all,
This map as of right now is too large. With some moving, you can crop a lot of.
Company logo chalk board - top right.
Auto deploy specials - top left.
Prices and impassables move in a tad. This alone will let you crop right down to the frame. Make it the same size as the top part of the ...

Re: Vertex/Austrum [25/10] V2.2 Page 1

Austrum is looking at least as good as Vertex I think. If this becomes a series of pole maps then the theme is still a bit weak. Why is the pole so important that it is part of the winning condition? Is there oil/the holy grail?

Also the whale in Austrum is seen from the middle while the mountains ...

Re: Dark Continent (Colonial Africa) [5,14, 12] Pg. 41

Im having an issue with the bonus of europe. Specifically the penalties.

The way it is written out. It is clear there is a penalty for holding 3,5,7 and 8 regions.
To me the way it reads is that it is okay to hold 1,2,4 and 6 regions. Ie no penalty. It just seams a lil too confusing.

Also on ...

Re: Vertex [22/10]

Looks promising. There will be a lot of starting neutrals to prevent the winning condition to apply in round 2?

I would not mention the minimum amount of troups (3). Instead it is important to mention if the normal territory bonus (4 for 12, 5 for 15, etc) does not count.
