Re: Official Twitter Account

twitter based turn notification would be cool.
How would you want this to work? There are already 3rd party services that can take an RSS feed and publish it on your twitter account; although perhaps something like a ConquerClubTurn twitter feed with updates like "It's @mibi 's turn in conquerclub ...

Re: Changing How the Team Does Things

Live Chat does have some changes to it, but the Live Chat Volunteers will be able to conduct actions as necessary.

Re: Nordic Countries <v.58> p1,49 [Gp,G] - waah! i want beta!!

You know natty, I hate to say this, but i don't think there is enough colour difference between the groups.
I tried to hint this to you when i ask if the colour blind map had been done, but you didn't take the hint. Oh well. Can't blame you.
I appreciate you want subtlty and "ice" but some of ...

Re: Nordic Countries <v.58> p1,49 [Gp,G] - waiting 4 beta...

Natty, this is looking so much better now - you've fixed up the things I was going to suggest with the borders and random shadow in the middle of the land; those small changes have had a net positive effect on the rest of the map.

For me, the only thing which looks slightly amiss now is the ...

Re: Nordic Countries <v.57c> p1,46 [Gp,G] - XML ready.

I have seen this about 46 times before. Some map maker who doesn't have a quenched map slides through to final forge because no one either gives a shit about the map or just doesn't its obvious faults. Then i or someone else points out the faults and the mapmaker has some chip on their sholder about ...

Re: Nordic Countries <v.57> p1,45 [Gp,G] - XML ready.

yeah, its an average and 'meh' map, and a major issue is the still blurriness of the land. It makes the whole map look amateurish, even more so than the rediculous mount of bevel and glow going on.

You have managed to turn these crisp nordic countries into a pair of over washed lavender socks. you ...

Re: Nordic Countries <v.57> p1,45 [Gp,G] - XML ready.

You're right Beals, I have worked on this map a long time, so forgive me for being skittish about it... I know though there are maps that have been worked on even longer, but I'm not sure if there's any other map in CC history that has gone through 57 different versions before quenching ;)

Anyway ...

Re: Nordic Countries <v.57> p1,45 [Gp,G] - XML ready.

I have to say, Rj... while I always appreciate your input, at this point I don't think I'm going to do anything to the land area anymore. I already switched the texture into a sharper one than what it was before. The soft borders are a stylistic thing, besides this way they are easier to ...

Re: CC Dispatch [Issue 28: 4-4-10] A Global View on Things

The amount of content in here is staggering. Its truly the gem of CC. Its too bad i isn't pushed to CC's wider audience and it needs a proper ToC.

Congradulations to Mageplunka....

For completeing over 33 games per day for almost two years. Without the new scoreboard, we would never have known such obsession existed. and 100% turns taken! exemplary.

Can you imagine not just playing but finishing 33 games a day without missing a turn?
