i dont have nothing personaly against these guys :
memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=363490

these avatar represent Fascist Leader of Italy Benito Musolini, do i need to give more evidence that these need to be removed?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=304420

Aren't you guys clanmates lol?
I think that any avatar that is reported as being offensive and the mods agree it's a legitimate complaint should get the chop. I feel this way because the mods tend to be reasonable regarding what's potentially offensive and what isn't, thank goodness.

being clanmates doesn't mean we have to agree on everything. We often play together and chat and get along pretty well, but have had a few arguments about all these shitty borderline nazi stuff. I mean field marshal fred Paulus was not really known for being a sadic butcher, it's hard to know where to draw the line, not as if he were an SS officer or something..

Yes, we are clanmates. Betiko reminds me of my future ex wife. Never knows when to shut the f*ck up.

If this causes a username change, then you'd better make BigBallinStalin change his username/avatar too.

Take this to Genereal Discussion gentleman.
As BG said before, this is being discussed by the C&A mods behind the scenes.

Locking this for now.

The accused have updated their avatars to something that hopefully would not be very offending or that would affect our lives.

We will continue to handle avatar issues on a case by case basis and follow the community guidelines.

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7785#p1759438

If you find someone offensive, use the foe option. Unless you specifically look for those images that offend you and tell everyone you are offended by it, then it's probably time to stand up and step away from your computer.

It would be best that you stop hunting for images from people that are currently or no longer active in the website or put them on your foe list once you deliberately look for them.

We are not here to teach people about history, religion or politics. It is always tough to argue when we say "this figure is ok, even though he killed X amount of people, but this figure is not." It will be an endless debate where both sides will force their own beliefs to the other. Context and intent is always important when handling issues like this. If you meant to troll, flame, bait, protest, etc. with your chosen image, then you should think twice. If you want to educate the community with your beliefs - start a thread and teach the community of what you want to spread.

Common sense prevails - if you are intentionally or continually making this community less enjoyable for others, you're going to be removed from it. It's that simple. This applies to any part of the site where interaction takes place; in Forums, Private Messages, Live Chat and Game Chat.
