thatguysherman/devinerne [ka]

Postby ubermann73 on Mon May 25, 2015 3:38 pm

Accused:

devinerne
thatguysherman

The accused are suspected of:

Being Multis

Game number(s):

15666784

Comments: Not sure but seems very strange. There were obvious attacks that should have been made. Green only attacked me in the game. Red (thatguysherman) had a relatively free hand. ALso, I noticed that thatguysherman was on, made his move and then went off. Devinerne came on immediately afterwards. In the log, there are moves that are very close to one another.
2015-05-24 17:41:27 - thatguysherman ended the turn and got spoils
2015-05-24 17:46:44 - devinerne received 4 troops for 14 regions

2015-05-25 19:31:32 - thatguysherman ended the turn and got spoils
2015-05-25 19:33:45 - devinerne got bonus of 1 troops added to Paris

Finally, I noticed in Devinerne's ratings he rated both thatguysherman and another player with a similar name.

thatguysherman 4.7

Shermanman 5.0

Again, not sure it is a multi, but looks suspect.

Thanks.

Ok fixed the links. It is possible both are friends. As for Shermanman I do not know that player has not been on the site in years so it may have just been a one time event with someone trying the site.

Saw this too....

devinerne hardly attacked anything in a massive board.

Game 15668447

Thanks. Have a good day.

I'm not sure that's a good example - poor play possibly, and I'm not saying there isn't a case, but I'm not sure if this backs it up convincingly. There was certainly some attacking but going second on 1v1 is invariably tricky.

Sure, clangfield. That makes sense. If you look at some of the other recent games, they are always together and it seems like sherman is a consistent winner.

FYI, Major.Bossman. Neither of those players has entered the game since you fixed the links. How does "fixing the links" work?

Thanks

I don't know if that a serious question, given how long you've been here... but others may read this and want to know.
It means changing your text into hypertext by putting mark-up language round it, so that clicking on it takes you straight there.
So whilst clicking on
ubermann73
will do nothing, clicking on
ubermann73
will take you to the relevant page.
Click to quote his post, and you'll see how it's done (and should be done in future to help the mods).

Perhaps the fact that you've called them on it has made them feel guilty and sent them into hiding :)

Thanks Clangfield.

It was a serious question. Just never needed to know before.

Take it easy.

Busted and premium has been stripped. Should he/they come back, they are always open to appeal their case or provide an explanation.
