This is completely above board since it wasn't done secretly. You are within your rights to rate players if you feel that they played with bad sportsmanship. Disclosing it openly in the chat actually gave other players a chance to grab the cards, making it a fair toss up for whoever could get there first, and that's exactly what happened here. Blue got the cards instead.
