Subject line: ronc6849, howielong, Big Whiskey - sharing accounts?

Suspect users: ronc6849, howielong, Big Whiskey

Game number: 878235

Comments: I don't think these guys are multis, because they're all premium users, and that seems ridiculous. I'm hesitant to even post this, but it seems highly questionable to me, so here it is. In triples/freestyle against them, there have been a few turns where the whole team moves, no moves overlap at all, and there is right around 30 seconds between the turns - right around the time for someone to log out and log back in.

Now, if it's somehow okay for teammates to share passwords, I apologize for even posting this, but it seems like it provides a distinct advantage in freestyle games if that team has first move and/or the other team has trouble coordinating attacks. The most obvious incident in the gamelog starts as posted below. I don't know how this works or if other information would be helpful, but there it is. Like I said, I'm not even sure this would be forbidden, but it seemed strange that their turns would not overlap at all in some spots, and would have such similar (and small) breaks between them.

Game 878235, round 3, starting at 2007-09-18 00:20:15.

It is common practice for teams to coordinate moves when all are online, especially in a freestyle game.

Yes, that makes perfect sense (edit: that they would coordinate). I've done the same thing over AIM. My concern was that all 3 turns of their turns in this case were taken with no overlap, with a short gap between them that would be about the time to log out and back in.

Player A went through his entire turn, fortifed, got a card.
Player B did the same 30 seconds after A's turn ended.
Player C did the same 30 seconds after B's turn ended.

The coordination, I am fine with. That's just good business. The fact that this seemed to be so coordinated with an absolute lack of overlap in this case is what struck me as odd.

Even if they were coordinating to move at one time, it seemed strange to me that no one did anything (even click "Begin Turn") while the other was moving. They play far too many games to be multis, but I wondered about the possibility of them sharing information in case they would not be able to execute their attacks simultaneously.

It is permissible for a teammate to account sit for another teammate. Or they may have just been seeing how each turn went? Not sure, but I'll ask them.

If account-sitting is permissible, then there isn't any problem here, and this can be disregarded. I just wasn't clear on that policy. My bad.

HAHAHAHAHA. This is priceless. You're flying off the deep end for something me and my teammates were ALREADY CLEARED FOR. Not only that, but I was completely respectful and even hedged to account for my lack of knowledge of this site's policies. I pointed to one specific turn that I thought was questionable, but (even before response) acknowledged that the behavior I suspected might be allowed. I was told the behavior was allowed, apologized for the trouble, and let it go.

If you want to keep complaining, keep complaining. You're making an ass of yourself. You're talking about a guy in Georgia, one in North Carolina, two in Washington (one of whom is back and forth to Chicago), and another in California. The mods have checked us out, and we're clean. Get over it.

Thank you ALL for taking it to flame wars. Or ignoring the whole thing, whatever your inner self desires....

I've played a few with Whiskey and i know him to be a supportive and responsive partner who will watch and discuss the moves of the team ... i even believe they were sequential which we played in as i have not played freestyle for a while.

A good discussion can be a good strategy! particularly if you are new to working together.

also be careful about accusing people of this .. hehe as you can see by rons response it does get under peoples skins.
