He is suspected of Cheating

Suspect users: lybim

Game number: 1023527 http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=1023527

(game is currently ongoing)

Comments: Hi there, my opponent not only cheats but admits to it in the comment section when it happened, and has done this to another opponent in the past. His previous opponent even came into our game to warn me as to what was going to happen, sure enough, that is exactly what lybim did. He ran the clock down to the very last minute of his attack and then caused me to loose my turn, in essence gaining two for himself at the expense of one of mine.

I pre-reported this to the game staff on the off chance he would do this to me and as the game is still underway would like a moderator to take a look at this please.

I did ... I have seen this reported as an abuse several times now, it is listed in the guys comment section several times and is discussed on the forum a number of times as being something that is frowned upon by a good number of players.

In fact it seems the only people who do not see this as being cheating are the ones who use this "tactic" during game play.

So as a reminder. Using a glitch that causes your opponent to loose a turn in game may be just a glitch to some, but it would appear to be cheating to the vast majority of those of us who play this game straight.

Don’t know about you, but I’d rather have a clean loss on my record than a dirty win. I know of lot of players out there however cannot say that.

Yep, just add to the ignore list for now, but thanks for warning others about this. Many don't like to play with people like that and view it as a dirt win, just like you.

So why isn't this little game glitch fixed?

Why is it not considered cheating to use it?

I mean lets face it, this is the very essence of what cheating is; using a design flaw to gain an advantage that you would otherwise not have.

Sad really... The guy played a straight game until I started beating the crap outta him then he broke out the cheat ... since it is not a cheat does that mean it is fair for me to return the favor?

I think not, he may win the game ... but I keep my honor. Guess that aint worth enough to most people these days.

It's just another reason that many seasoned players don't like to play freestyle. Fixing the problem has been discussed many times but I'm not sure if or when it will happen.
