if it really bothers you add them to your foe list and give them tags that relate

t-o-m's cool, Dude! Harassing people in game chat is a tactic, I usually try to ignore it to the best of my ability unless I see an advantage to responding. If you don't like their tactics, just leave them a crappy rating and a little comment of why they are such bad players.
t-o-m is a really good guy and I would hate to see him get site banned over something as trivial as talking smack in game chat. It wasn't like the whole Norse/Marie Antoinette conversation...

Prank does more than that- especially on MSN.

Does anyone find it a tad bit hypocritical that Scott is talking about the way Prank speaks in game chat where he has made a great deal of points as a result of his threats to place people on ignore?
btw, this is not MSN, it is Conquer Club

Utter filth Blitzaholic, completely inappropriate and just the sort of talk the original poster is complaining about! As a senior member of the community you should be ashamed of the example you are setting!
Well Clapp we are both waiting now ^^

I had a look at the chat... it is fairly 'normal' stuff for a public speed game.
It may be a tactic but it is about genuine frustration at players not having learnt the nuances of certain game-types.
I have been guilty of a little lively language in Speed games too. It is probably not fair as everyone has to learn at some point and if you join public games you should really know what is going to happen .. but it is hot in the immediate heat of speed battles.
best thing to do is put someone on Foe if they are being a little 'blue' and putting you off your game. hah sometimes i do that with my mates if they are being purposely irritating. then take them off after the game if you like.

They didn't say anything wrong in the game chat. Build a bridge and get over yourself.

I read the entire game log, it was quite tame in my opinion!
I myself have abused peeps in games way worse than what prank and tom did combined!
Dude that started this thread, put them on foe, it's a lot easier than wasting bandwidth with this stupid shit!

Yeah, I agree. The chat is hilarious! And I would like to just point out for the record that the OP of this thread was missing turns (that would piss me off in a crucial game! I would probably give the OP a bad rating just for that!)

I can understand the report as not everyone has the same tolerance level when it comes to certain languages. What may be fine with some may not be the case for someone else.
Moving forward, basically, we take a liberal stance on what is allowed to be said in game chat. If you find yourself in a game with someone who offends you, I suggest that you add the member in question to your foes list and his/her comments will disappear. This way, you won't get provoked or get affected. To put someone in your foes list, click on the member's username to get into his profile, then click on Add Foe. You can even place a note when you add someone in your foes list to remind you why you placed that person in that particular list.
