I think this quote is mostly directed at when you set up private games where you invite new recruits and beat them. Not public games.

every other post is a player ratting on another for "farming" just cause their jealous that said player is ranked higher then them

Did mfourtyfour intentionally setup these games and invited all those new account to join in to his games? If not, I would rather place this in a grey area. I shall note this for future reference just in case he gets involved in another number of games where new accounts somehow join in. Yes, it is a fact that we can not control those who join in our public games, but since there is already this particular abusive activity in the past that some target new accounts for points, we also have to consider that in all similar cases.

Look, farming is setting up games (usually oddball maps which look interesting but are really confusing) which attract people who will then deadbeat. This guy set up standard maps, with standard settings. Or do you want to accuse me of farming as well? Game 4175059.

New recruits join games. It happens. There is a big difference between setting up games which intentionally attract NRs and encourage them to deadbeat.

And as for King's note - it's perfectly reasonable. This user is not doing anything wrong now, but if it keeps popping up, we know that he's been doing it for a while and can track it down.

LOL. Ok - just to clarify - it was indeed meant as a joke. I don't consider Achilles to be a genuine asshat. Even though I cam admit that I found him annoying when he started out as a mod, but I've overcome this initial feeling and learned to love him. These days I have the same dirty feelings for him like two disturbed cousins can have for each other...

Point was - alebit perhaps not particularly clear - that I can't even imagine this to be a gray area. The guy set up perfectly regular games, how can it even be noted? I mean, seriously conspicuous possible secret alliances are noted so he’s in some pretty bad company with this tag. What could he possibly have done different? Guess that perhaps with the exception then if dropping a shitload of games not having ?s in them. But looking at his game list, that is clearly not the case. But if noting is a standard thing to put, so be it. I think the games are cool. And this belief comes with some first-hand experience of negative farming issues...
