i like all of the latest changes, which seem to have neutralised blue's previous clear advantage. are u able to do something about the red background for the besieger legend, against which the black text doesn't stand out well?

Ian I think can read it, but I think he was saying it could be less straining with an adjustment.

This. I can read it myself but with a tad bit of straining. Maybe increase the line spacing a tad bit might help.

ah, but the line spacing has nothing to do with the background colour. no problem the spacing can be fixed and i'll also work with the glow on the text. but i'd like to keep the colour.

Please don't mess with the color!! It fits well with the rest of the map!

tweaked the shadow and the glow. it should be easier on the eye and thus easier to read.

although i have no problem with reading either of them (i have a pretty good monitor) the new one is indeed a little easier on the eyes because the glow on the other one is a bit distracting.

ok, this settles it. the new style for the legend stays. but what about the gameplay? can i get that badge?

I think things look pretty good! If it doesn't mess up the legends, putting a box outline around the +1's and +5's etc, might make those numbers stand out a little more.

Bullets in the legend might also help the flow of information, but they may not be necessary.

the box outline is hard to do because it would mean stretching the space between the rows of text and i don't want that.
bullets can be done but they won't look good. bullets are best used when the text is aligned to the left and all the bullets form a nice column. i have the text centered so the bullets won't form a nice column.
i could bold those parts if needed.

Mmhm. It just seems like those bonus items could use some extra emphasis---of any kind, since those are what people will be looking back for, after they read each legend once and get the general gist of things.

V16.1:

i've decided to keep the little white things with a lower opacity. they do enough to highlight the numbers without being too invasive.
i still think highlighting is unnecessary as the bonuses are very simple but whatever...
now, may i get a graphics review and possibly a badge? this is my last map and i'd like to wrap things up asap.

Could go with a bit of a marble pattern for the legend panels to help with seeing the text and the numbers, something consistent instead of just the white splotches. The colors are tad on the bight side imo and could be toned down a lil as well.

The roads also seem to be pixelated around the edges The bridge is especially bad with the river behind it making it stick out like a sore thumb.

i don't want to change the legend backgrounds to marble as i've grown rather fond of the grungy backgrounds i have now. also the colours are already a bit washed out for my taste and i really want to avoid turning the light red into a pink plus several others already said the colours are fine.

the roads are fixed in the images above.

Just noticed DiM, some of your territ names need to be wavy. Assassins guild is perfectly straight. Mill looks like it to as well. It seems to be the ones you moved about but I may be wrong.
