Which option was that? I don't really like it. The open assault options were better.

There's always that not so innocent person who packs ice into their snowballs. Perchance adding a "deadly icicle" or somesuch that gives your throwers +1 autodeploy?

just an idea to use or refuse

I personally always preferred using a nice juicy slush ball, a good shot in the back of the neck would soak your opponent down to the skin with freezing water and wet snow.

Another excellent map cairns, please don't let the lack of feedback stop this one.

Hopscotcher, i'd like that idea if the autodeploy was random, but ot have it available for each turn; i'm not in favour of that although others might be.

Maybe I missed the point before, but I thought the Throwers hands (not their bodies) could assault other teams throwers bodies (not their hands).

I don't see a circle on Bindy's body. Is that intentional?

Other than that... I don't know. This is a really different gameplay from anything. It looks like it *might* work, but it's hard to tell.

The gameplay seems okay to me, other than the Snowmen. I like them and I think you should keep them (at least in the picture) but I don't see their purpose.

The Dogs and Snowmen are 'dead-end' regions, correct? The Dogs give a +1 bonus, but the Snowmen don't seem to do anything and go nowhere... are they a part of the region Team bonus? If that is the case (as I suspect it may be) then I think the Team bonus should be a little higher, as the Snowman represents a vulnerable point to be attacked, but cannot attack in return, and each of those teams lacks a third Thrower. I realize that those teams also have a Dog which the other teams do not, but they still seem horribly vulnerable and difficult to hold, especially since I think most of the other teams will gang up and go after the Dogs. Perhaps a +4 bonus, or something to compensate?

Also, should Team 8 have a Snowman or something since they have a Dog? Or a reduced Team bonus, like +1?

I think it would be nice to get this map going for the Holidays, hopefully we can get any issues sorted out within the next week. As Evil D said, the gameplay is somewhat unique and so perhaps Beta will be the only way to really tell if it works.

Guys, i say that i do not want to finish this map, as i have lost interest, and started other music projects.
If anyone else wants to finish it in time for the xmas break, then below is the link to the .png file and you can take it from there.
The .png file is 4.172MB, formatted from Fireworks CS3, so you should be able to import it to PS or FW. Right click File Save As... should get you the file to download.
If you can't get it from here then send me an email with some details of how you want to retrieve it.
Sorry, but these things happen.
Good luck.

cairswk lost his mojo, and is having difficulty retrieving it. It was last seen playing a fine game of Cricket, I do believe.
I think he meant for this to be binned if no one wanted to pick up where he left off.
