The following students have demonstrated exceptional prowess on the field of battle. Their success demonstrates killer instinct and keen tactical insight, as well as charisma, general personal hygiene, and elite culinary skills.

The following numbers are for SoC games that I observed in April.

April 2010

After a near-year-long hiatus, the Honor Roll returns! It's interesting to look at the honorees for the previous posted month. Three went on to become teachers (one a mod), and another honoree was recently elected the SoC Chairman on Decorum, Astrophysics, and Stealth Theory. Where will this month's recipients go? Only time and the great walrus will tell!

And so, without further ado, these individuals have displayed exemplary courage under fire, shrewd application of theory to the battlefield, and general overall good taste in user avatars:

Classroom 1
sannemanrobinson: 1 win in 2 games, +89 pts

Classroom 2
azak848 - 2 wins in 3 games, +138 pts

On the bubble in the SoC NCO tournament

Beat two majors, a colonel, a captain, and an LT (including two SoC teachers)

Training Field 5
GregDavidson - 1 win in 2 games, +82 pts. Greg's closing in on the LT rank. Nice work, Greg!

delibekir - 1 win in 4 games, +38 pts

Training Field 8
bdb - 1 win in 2 games, +82 pts
Bdb also advances to the next round in the SOC NCO tournament in very competitive play with the top score in his group and 6 terminations in 3 games.

For his performance in the classroom and his continued dominance in the SOC NCO tournament, Bdb is the April 2011 SoC Student of the Month. Nice job, man!

If I've missed anyone, please let me know. As a new feature of the Honor Roll, each student recognized as Student of the Month will receive a spiffy Training Achievement medal.

Four different TFs fielded multiple awardees this month. Congratulations, folks!

An honorable mention goes out to jwhite07, who narrowly beat out five other very good players to win the final round of the SoC NCO Tournament.

It was hard to choose the student of the month, with several players putting in good showings. In the end, piecrayon and papaj both won multiple games with a 50% win percentage, and so these two fine players are June's students of the month. Way to go, guys!
