Hello after five years

Postby Papaj on Wed Jul 06, 2016 7:57 am

Hi all, especially my former SoC teachers!

I played the game five years ago for several months.
I reached the rank of major and then I stopped playing.
Now I would like to play again regularly but I lost my playing skills.

Is there someone or some team who would help me to play again?
Is there any community for oldboys?

Thanks in advance,
Papaj

Welcome back...a good way to put you back on track would be to join those casual games, starting from the last page because jmyork82 puts some gigantic work on "cleaning" old created games.
Since those are casual you may end up gathering some trick from other from the game chat or with your "partner" if you choose to join team game.

Click here, make sure it shows the last page, scroll to the bottom and start from there joining the one you want

Here you can see what work he has done and may help him to fill some...https://www.conquerclub.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=31&t=213900

Greetings.

Here's the current list of SoC games, in case you want to start by getting back into those.

Heya, Papaj! Feel free to jump back in, man!

One community that's pretty awesome at playing casual games is the Friends of Elvis, and a lot of us are members. If you're interested in joining, PM ganguscalm and let him know Mac sent you.

Thanks for greetings for all.

Dukasaur, five years ago there were hidden forums for the players in SoC training. Is there something like that today? What are the rules of joining the games? I would like to be someone in the average , not very beginner but not an expert or teacher.

Yep, we still have those training grounds, Papaj. You already went through training once, but if you want to reenter as a student for a while, we can do that. =)

We also have team training, if you're interested in that aspect of play.

Welcome back,

mac, I think he is referring to the Graduate Lounge, ( a hidden forum only open to SoC grads), I think that meets what he is discussing.

Maybe if you want to join a few training games and pm me when your turn comes up I can advise on moves until you get back in the swing of it?
However, if you want to get back into basic training let me know and I will inquire about how to proceed.

Thank you tamaynet for your offer. Do you mean double training games?

Hey there Papaj, SoC Training is outstanding, so you should definitely enroll in team training with them. I've personally learned a lot about escalating games from the great instructors. Some clans have mentoring/training for new or low ranked players, that would help, but you have to be a member. If you want a partner to play some dubs, hit me up. and gl
