looks like Lack has been releasing quenched maps into live play a little quicker now - so we may get to play after all!

I'm so glad this map ended up with the rich blue, orange, red, and purple tones. It really adds graphic interest. I'm so excited to go live.

My Halloween tournament is up and getting players so I really hope I didn't overestimate people in charge who have to get the map up by October 31st :lol:

Wow, Cairnswk has made a habit of having maps quenched at around the 25 page mark. Some of these others are at twice that. He needs to stop posting finished maps for critisism and give the other map-makers a chance.

Other map makers have every same chance as i have at posting maps. page numbers is merely probably an indication that i get in and do 98% of what posters want instead of debating endlessly over it, to me that's unproductive for best use of my time. :)
i could stop altogether if you really like Juan_Bottom :shock:

Oh no :o , that's not what I mean. You just gotta give the others a reachable goal... Map-making is a competition, right? 24 pages is just killin' the competition.... You're maps are just so intimidating....

map-making for me is not a competition...i am not competing here with any of the map-makers to see who can do the best map unless i was to enter into any of the re-vamp competitions.
My first purpose when i made Cairns Coral Coast was to get Cairns on the map so-to-speak :)
After that, for me it became a personal challenge to provide the site with differing subject matters re graphics &/or xml extendabilities inside/outside the "classic" mould.... :)
i am definitely not competing with anyone bar myself in my process.

this whole 'classic' thing has got priorities changed. the recently quenched maps aren't even up so even if this and Haiti are quenched, would that change anything?
