Final tiny niggle.... The 'L' of transvaal is sllightly obscured by the orange border (on the minimap). If you reduce the spacing a tiny bit, you should be able to fit the region name fully within the border.

Once that's done, please could you post the links to the most recent files in preparation for Beta ;-)

All I need now is to make sure the correct files (links) are laid before me to take to the Altar of the Turtle...

You know, IH, I brought that problem up, but you ignored me. Eat it! :P Jk, I want this map beta-quenched ASAP, too. :)

          Beta - Quenching

---The Final Forge period has concluded for the South Africa 1885 Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Beta Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for BETA Play. After an extended period of time in BETA and once all quirks and issues have been resolved, the map will be put into Full Play (barring any Lack vetoes).

Conquer Club, enjoy!

              Image

While the map is in BETA Play, there are a couple of administrative tasks that are required of the mapmaker(s) in addition to the initial gameplay testing:
    1. Please ensure that the first post of the thread contains all the necessary information to help future visitors to the development thread; it's particularly important to ensure the most recent images are there, along with any helpful guides (such as gameplay quirks/nuances or the location/size of any starting neutrals etc.)
    2. Please update the Map Information Portal with details of your map
    3. Finally, it is the responsibility of the mapmaker(s) to ensure that they respond to further feedback in a timely and constructive manner.

very nice map but ...
I took me a while to figure out
how Bloemfontein territory is working
I would suggest to move Winburg border
so the fort has more space around it
specially in the small map

Very beautiful map! And interesting twist to be able to double your bonuses.

But oh no!... Swaziland is almost the same shade of green as Zululand. As a result I assumed you needed Swaziland to get Zululand bonus. So I think my team is going to lose now, if my enemy can secure that bonus, which I had mistakenly neglected.

If it were a more contrasting color I wouldn't have made the mistake. Yes I know that the minimap indicates that Swaziland is it's own bonus, but I don't always look at the minimap.

I had also this problem. Helix conquered it and it showed he gain +1 bonus. I wonder, why? for a while I thought there must be something what knows only mapmaker (Helix). any trick

Pretty nice map on first view, but I'm wondering if the deploy for 1v1 could be changed from 12 to 13 each? If thats not possible, maybe even 11 each just to ensure not too much of an undue advantage for the persona starting first
