thanks isaiah40...
I will also want some extra space "supersize" for this one, only 60 extra at the bottom so that it becomes 630w x 660h...that station is fine but it needs people and other scenery at the bottom to make it come alove as did Rail Africa after i put that background in.

So if you will get this out into the foundry as soon as Trafalgar is Beta (can't have mnore than two maps) and lets determine if there is enough support for it to continue. :)

you know, if i threw a few sections into China India and Russia, we could almost have the basis of another excellent Asia map itself.

IMO, there would really have to be something fresh and different from the other Rail maps, as we have plenty, I'd say.

I think there are better binned ideas to pursue, like Spanish Armada and CC's Treasure Island

This is not to say, though, that I necessarily disapprove this.

Gees Sully, you are really digging into that recycling box asking for Treasure Island. Tbh, i had completely forgotten about it.
Spanish Armada will happen but i need Xmas holidays to get that together, so it is vacationed until then, although i recall there wasn't too much support for that one either.

And basically i am happy to work on any of my past projects as long as there is community support for them, butit has to be decent support and not just one or two.

Thanks for your support guys.
A quick new version to show where i'd like to take this, and possibly why it will need the extra 60 pixels (660H), please forgive the crudity of the people image...but do note the image of the chinese hi-speed train in the gap...

You're welcome! Concerning your supersize application, I think you're going to need to go supersize with the large as well to make it noticeably larger than the small.

Yes. i have worked out for the large 909W x 800H - which makes it 15% larger.

This is the adjusted small size map Version 6 still.
1. the image has been stretched to flesh out the island nations so that the links should be clearer between each station.
2. Proper people images are beginning to appear
3. the staircase is done properly
4. black glow given bonus rail line names ....don't know if this works to make them more legible
5. the Russian red has been changed to make the stations' texts more legible.

Would it possible for somebody to see of this ready for draft stamp please?

I noticed an improvement in the Russian legend in Wednesday's post. Overall, I think the black glow is a good idea.

I presume the 3's denote starting neutrals. They would seem to do a good job of preventing bonuses on the drop for most of the small zones, namely, E, F, H, and M, but what about I? In fact, I is smaller than H. Perhaps you meant to put the 3 on TAF-I rather than TAF-H?

I'd actually only changed the colour of Russian this morning, along with the balck glow, but thanks for noticing it.

No, that's where it has been since V2/3...but i can add one to H if you wish and you think it will be better for gamplay, plus golden number issues. I'll add it to KHI-I - Karachi. Is that OK?

Well, to me, there is a definite difference in the image in Wednesday's post, and the one prior. No matter, it looks very good now.

That looks like a good idea, but I'll admit I have not studied it in depth. I guess my question right now is, why, with 5 territories, does H need a neutral?

Mmm. maybe a mistake in neutral placement, we can change that if you wish.

Also i want to place another station on the map, i want to include Kabul in Afghanistan, with a link to Islamabad.
Any thoughts, good or bad idea etc?
Reason: a line to assist the country with economic devlopment has long been touted, but this proposed link goes from Kabul to Dushanby but there isn't the room to do that here.
