I'm sure there's tons of vector apps that do it, they're just not as good as commercial apps.

If you use a free application like paint.net or GIMP and actually 'paint' your map as if you were using oil paints you won't get rough lines like that. Just use soft brushes not 1pixel hard brushes.

Still blocky but much less than before. I think you should switch the positions of that one eyed tentacle creature thing and that thing next to the ship and W.Negros (I only just noticed the homour in that islands name). They need to be changed because that ship and the thing next to W.Negros are framed in the same direction and makes the background look to linear (congratulations if you understood that because rereading it i struggle to understand what i wrote).

Alright, when Marv. checks this again and responds to the last few posts, we'll see if it can be Quenched.

Suggestion (again Marv :P), make your name and date smaller. I know you are proud, but make it discreet so it blends with the map, and doesn't stick out. ;) But then again, just a suggestion.

So, Andy:

:D Thanks all for the good comments :D

About the borders, as I said, is the best I can do. About changing the creatures, I cant understand your point. The little ship and the creatures have no background, they are just over the sea I created mixing other images. And about the direction, of course the ship is going to east, while the triton is going to west (or is stopped just watching the ship, as if it was planning an attack (that was my idea when I positioned it). I couldnt understand, so...

And I will probably reduce my name, Andy, but Im lazy now and its not necessary post another images after this great update, is it? So, quenche it, Im already working on SA map. :)

I think he is suggesting that you flip flop the creature image. Switch the head to the other side, so it looks less like they are on a diagonal line.

Yes. GavSid is not skilled with English, because he speaks Gibberish at home.

Diagonal line? Bah! How can you see this as a problem? They are where I think they should be, and I see no reason to change it.

Alright, this is getting near end finally, and I don't believe there will be many more urgent issues brought up, but I will give it until the end of the day (my day, about 12 hours longer) to see if there are any last objections. If there is not anything major, we'll see if we can get this Quenched!

                  Quenching

The Final Forge period has concluded for the Philippines Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for live play (barring any Lack vetoes).

Conquer Club, enjoy!

Thanks, people :D

I sent Andy the image links, so he can study the map looking for any coordinate errors, and also sent to lack the xml. I believe its in their hands now...

I played (and won) the first game in my Brazil map... I hope this can happen again
