you have to take one of the Augustus (East or West) to be able to attack, keep in mind either one Augustus doesn’t attack all barbarian.

So I have to conquer the entire side to get there?

I am also confused on how to get bonus points. A few of us control an entire color, but aren't getting the bonus. What is the catch we are missing?

are you using the “map inspect” option?

Yes, but it makes no sense to me. The numbers in the map key seem to be changing, and changing colors as we play.

First of all there is no region bonus as you would get on many other maps, most of the bonus comes from auto deploy.

As you see the legion can attack it’s own region territory that is not bordering, it can bombard the barbarian outpost (smaller white bubble) of their same diocese (color).

Now to get the Barbarian you have to walk through Vicarious seat, Prefecture and then you can take an Augustus, you don’t have to take all vicarious to move on to the next step, for both east or west Augustus check the arrows going from vicarious, prefecture...you can see a Prefecture can be attack by different vicarious.

So I was on a legion here:

2020-05-08 06:52:05 - jphoc bombarded Angli Outpost from BII (Legion) and annihilated neutral player's troops

I killed all the troops, when they had 1 left, and it didn't reflect that I defeated them, so I couldn't conquer it.

Bombarding makes it a neutral, you can't conquer it from a bombardment territory

I am so confused. Maybe give me an example of a territory by name that can conquer a barbarian outpost?

only the main barbarian can attack and take a barbarian outpost (big white bubble can take the small white bubble, one way assault)

exemple: the barbarian at the most top “Angli” can attack and take his outpost.

Augustus West can only attack/assault the following barbarian
Angli
Saxones
Franci
Langobardi
Augustus East the 4 others.

other exemple how to get there is:
You have the diocese capital Sirmium (orange region), so you would have to attack the same vicarious seat named Sirmium (top right corner of the map), then the vicarious seat Sirmium can attack Italiae Prefecture (that prefecture can be also attacked by the other 3 orange vicarious seat), from that Italiae prefecture you can attack Augustus West.

I had East and West mixed up, i changed it in my post above.

Also with map inspect and pointing a prefecture or praetorio, will show you you can bombard any capital and legion within the same colors group (blue, orange/red, pink, green)

I attached an image here. Do the colors on this key relate to the players colors? BEcause the colors don't make sense, as yellow player is receiving the bonus but it looks like the bonus is green colored for EM Augusta.

Playing my first game on this map and gradually getting the hang of it but need clarification on the winning requirements. It says hold one imperial capital, both imperial seats and 4 barbarian tribes. Do you need to hold them for a complete round? Do you need the barbarian outpost as well?

Some maps have 'victory' objectives, which you must conquer and hold for one round to win the game. If you are holding an objective, you will win the game at the moment you press the "Begin Turn" button, even in assassin and terminator games (think of this as the ultimate zone bonus). In team games, as with bonuses, the objective must be held by a single player.

No, barbarian outpost is not needed. You have to hold only the regions listed as requirements for the victory.

Nobodies ;)

Thanks Nobodies, right enough I fortunately held on (given I hadn't reinforced everything required) and won as soon as next round began...

Had played on Oasis and it clearly stated hold for one round whereas this only said hold the territories...

Any map, having an winning "objective" option, are under the same rule which is "holding" the objective until your next round start, hope this help as well.

I have a question on the scoring.

I currently hold 25 territories in the East. I hold Praetorio, Eastern Augustus and Antochina vicarious, I also own 3 Barbarian tribes in the east.

But my troop bonus is 4.

According to the map scoring rules it should be 14?

you got -3 for each tribe on the same side than the Augustus.
So -9 if you have eastern August + 3 eastern tribe.

Can't really calculate the other bonus with the information given here. But I guess you forgot that -3/tribe for the emperor.
