Maybe play with smoothing the edges of the lines into the territory or something? I am still learning my graphics programme so please don't hit me if I am asking too much!!

The lines where drawn on and still are. It fitted the earlier version but not this one. Will get round to doing that. Finally found a look that I am happy with.

That looks much better, I think the colors reflect realaty more, as the colors of the island are from grass and gravel/dirt.
Nice what you done with the structure of the land, hang on to that

thay are nice, and DiM did me a grerat favour on the RD map by letting me use them. But now that I have some (very limited) experience, I will redo them to what I need for this map. That is, if the mods don't keep saying things like, pixelated.

Pst, it's "Belgrano", not "BĆ©lgrano". No accent there.

The map is looking cool, eh?

Redid the territ lines to suit the new map.
Removed the accent from Belgrano
New town/LZ symbols

Are there any more game play issues to be resolved? or can I start looking at the graphics more.

Just a point of taste bu Bn is landlocked ... mayne 1bn5 to HMS Sheffield and 4th 3 to ARA Comodo Segal (delete 4th 1 to ARA Comodo Segal)?

Hey Koontz
I have a comment about gameplay:
Subs, do they start neutral? because in my view, the minus 4 for keep the subs and the fleet is sad position to be in, and if you got the wrong sub from the start, you stand on it to last the troop is buried, with out no chance of ever getting the entire bonus for the fleet. Maby a mini bonus for holding both subs ?
No one wants a enemy sub

The first one, with the British I can and will do. Fits in as that was the original landing site. The second one, I would be hesitant about as you then start in the corner and just move up. I wanted to give the players choices on which direction to go, up, down, or sideways. I have always liked maps that give you multiply directions with multiple ways to attack.

The subs have a huge amount of power. If you get one in the drop (they start as normal) you are immune from the air (the only 2 territs that cannot be bombed by the airforce) and can bombard all of the enemy fleet. The minus bonus is there to counter that fact.

The chance of dropping anywhere near the full bonus of either the fleets is negligible but if you ever find yourself in that predicament then, just do not take the last ship. But I could add a +1 for both subs.

it would be a tedious position yes and you are probably right in that it is 1 to 10000000, but it would be preferable to avoid enemy sub and go after the entire fleet bonus, that's why I thought as a kind of consolation bonus with both subs

The idea of being able to bombard the enemy's navel forces brought a smile to my face.

It's looking good, though. Keep up the good work.

The new image is done and gave both subs a +2 bonus. The other thing that I came to realize is that if you have the fleet or want the fleet, you have to be more careful with the subs. Sort of makes you think of how to go about getting rid of them. Do you take them early and maybe get a negative bonus or leave a potential enemy in your midst. Should also add another element to the team games.

And to think I just changed the same spelling. Will post the new image after I fix this.

One question... did you draw the ship & airplane icons yourself or did you get them from somewhere?

The aircraft are from here and will need to be changed before the final version. I have not been able to get the images for the final version right yet. Should be soon.
http://www.free-clipart-pictures.net/military_clipart.html

The ships are drawn from lots of images and changed to fit the need. Just a lot of copy and pasting done so there is no real ship that looks like these are more importantly, no images on the web either (copyrighted or not). They come form multiple images, but have towers, helicopters, turrets etc, deleted, moved, replaced etc. The two aircraft carriers are drawn mostly though as I could not find one of similar size.

It has always been a toss up of what style to use, plane images like the aircraft or the more realistic style of the ships. Either way, it needs to be sorted, just procrastinating a bit. It you think the ships need to go too, they will but I like them.

Well, you can't use the images from that site. I checked the site, and their terms of use forbids use of their clipart for commercial use, so you'll have to find something else or draw your own icons.
