Although this map is defined as "limited edition map" because it was developed behind the scenes for the associated event, this topic has been created to provide to you a place where you can make suggestions, comments or report problems with the map. Please use the following topic only for these purposes.

The one extra army on Germany needs to be removed now that this map is open full-time. It needs to be balanced.

This needs to be redone for 2015, now that groups are determined.
It could also probably use an XML rewrite to better mirror the actual process of clarification.
I will work on the XML part and could probably have something tomorrow.

Re: [Limited Edition] 2011 Women's World Cup Map - Question

I play this map for the first time. I have some thoughts.

Is it suppose to be "authentic"?

According to
https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/V%C3%A4rldsm%C3%A4sterskapet_i_fotboll_f%C3%B6r_damer_2011#cite_note-15

Groups were:

Group A

Tyskland 3 3 0 0 7 3 +4 9
Frankrike 3 2 0 1 7 4 +3 6
Nigeria 3 1 0 2 1 2 −1 3
Kanada 3 0 0 3 1 7 −6 0

Group B

England 3 2 1 0 5 2 +3 7
Japan 3 2 0 1 6 3 +3 6
Mexiko 3 0 2 1 3 7 −4 2
Nya Zeeland 3 0 1 2 4 6 −2 1

Group C

Sverige 3 3 0 0 4 1 +3 9
USA 3 2 0 1 6 2 +4 6
Nordkorea 3 0 1 2 0 3 −3 1
Colombia 3 0 1 2 0 4 −4 1

Group D

Brasilien 3 3 0 0 7 0 +7 9
Australien 3 2 0 1 5 4 +1 6
Norge 3 1 0 2 2 5 −3 3
Ekvatorialguinea 3 0 0 3 2 7 −5 0

We started a game a few days ago (Fog):
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3mKkDnvJZc_dktMUWxCY2ZkMEk

The problem that shows is that:

Group D is only connected to Qualifier 6.
Teams in groups are not in the "authentic" groups.

Is it as it should be ? :?:

well spotted, hjelp.

as u can see from the fifa website, the groups are not the authentic groups used in the 2011 world cup.

u've identified the main gameplay flaw. however, samuelc812 hasn't been active on cc for several months now and mrbenn, who is the artist for 2015 women's world cup, hasn't played since last year, although he does comment very occasionally.

since finalising 2015 women's world cup will take priority, it's likely that fixing 2011 women's world cup is not likely to happen for a while.
