Makedonia was the starting country. It has been called Macedon Empire, Makedon Empire, Alexander III's Empire, and Alexander the Great's Empire. The selection screen title could be Alexander's Empire/Alexander III's Empire.

See Alexander was an odd situation. He was a Macedon but longed dearly to be a Greek. So he technically ruled an empire of no official country. (I can't help thinking of Hezbollah, not an official country, but ruling an area. Except Alexander was not a terrorist.)

Hey now, lets not tread awkward controversial territory here.

Baha, and you all thought the day would never come.

I had to change up the colors of Kassander and Ptolomey to make the numbers visible.

It's look rather good Mr. K!

But looking at the small map, I notice many of the names are hard to read, due to their size.
  • Ilyria
  • Byzanitum
  • Thessaly
  • Athens
  • Myrcania
  • Caria
  • Prisidia

A few others are a little tougher, the 'i's are specially in a few. Also it looks like India Inferior almost got cut off on the side, and might need a nudge to the left.

Does Corinth border Thessaly? It's hard to tell what is going on there since some of the land is white and some is brown.

Cyprus armies should be on Cyprus not floating out right next to the words Mediterranean Sea.

Corinth doesnt.. I think hes adding to the necesity of having a ocean.. imo..

I agree about cyprus's armies.. tis confusing which ones belong to which country.

The brown areas are off the playing field, so Corinth does not border Thessaly.

Only problem with putting Cyprus' armies on the island is that its such a small island, when I put the numbers there it completely covers the place and its hard to tell whats going on.

Currently i'm having a crisis, I can't find the photoshop file... :{

Also you might want to consider making the 'Note' sharper or larger in the small map. There is ample room, and it would help the visual on the small map.

I like it. U do need to fix Cyprus' army though and i think you should change the colour of Ptolomy, it looks so dull compared with the colours of the other continents.

I agree about the difficult names and Cyprus number. Im also feeling the lack of the army shadows... no many maps without it...

What name will be put in create game page? Alexander's Empire? We need a reduced form, this name is huge and wouldnt fit well.

So what? It works just fine, and army shadows wouldn't work well on this map, and I personally think this map looks better without them anyway.

Right, I changed the title because a lot of people thought the full "Alexander the Great" would be better, so I used the room I had to squeeze it in. The shortened title will probably just be Alexander's Empire.

As for the concerns about the name sizes, i'll try and work something out on that as soon as i'm able to find the photoshop file...

I'll try moving Cyprus' name around too, but i'm not sure it'll look better ontop of the island, the number just totally blocks out the island (cause its small) and its hard to tell whats going on.

nope. at this point i'm only addressing new concerns, cause all the old ones have been more than dealt with.

So yeah, when I find that photoshop file (and some time) i'll see what I can do about the name sizes, and i'll also make sure that note is more visible.

I don't believe so. Mr. K is a busy man, and just hasn't had a lot of time for cartography. We'll see if he ever posts an update though :)

I like it. It's not as similar to the middle east map as I thought it might have been.
