cairnswk, I would rather you did not. Whilst it is not played by me a lot, it is one of the funny maps that is not perfectly balanced and bland. I like the fact we have some maps like this. Just my thoughts on this issue.

Rail Europe is my all time favorite map. And as much as I've always enjoyed the M-bonus against people who didn't see the value of it, I can't say it's very balanced. Because there a lot of bonuses, I think it wouldn't harm the map to make the M-bonus worth 2 troops, instead of 3.
I'm a big fan of the map as it is, so I don't really care if it's changed, but I thougt I might add to the conversation that it's indeed an unfair bonus.

So, at present....here is a summary of who does and does not want gameplay change in relation to Bonus M (and maybe other bonuses)
If there is to be any change there will have to be a
much bigger majority on the side of wanting change than against it.
Against:
codierose
JBlombier
koontz1973
Industrial Helix
For:
BENJIKAT IS DEAD
fumandomuerte
nikola_milicki
benga
abel
chapcrap

Aw common Andy, you can do better than that now the pressure is off
ManBungalow wrote:What's the proposed gameplay change?
Some want the bonuses re-examined...
some want Line M bonus reduced

I agree with N and M both being looked at. We might collectively decide that they are OK as they are, but the discussion should be opened up. With trench warfare especially, an N bonus is nearly impossible to break.

Don't be such a pansy Doom. If you trained your troops harder, you could break it every time. I win battles with just 1 troop left and have him cover two terts at once.

Doesn't mean it is going to be accepted.
I have previously stated that there has to be a far greater majority in favour of this change and i ma not seeing evidence of that so far.

Unfortunately I've played this map...exactly one time, and I don't even remember playing that game really. Ha.

The calculator itself says that the bonuses are too high...
Also, I just played a 1v1 where it would have taken me 4 turns from starting positions to even attack the N bonus. Going through 6 neutrals along the one path no less.
