The current map isn't the most beautiful map on CC, but it's hardly the ugliest. However, there have been a number of members asking for a revamp of this map and plenty of people with an interest in doing so. I have no problem with there being a petition, it can't hurt.

I notice there has been talk of people showing their revamp effort off to others in the foundry. I would really like to discourage this as the competition is supposed to be anonymous. I am available to provide feedback on the revamps if need be and the whole idea of keeping identities secret is to provide a fair competition for everyone.

I've personally only seen one persons revamp, but I know there are at least another 3 in the works. Kind of makes me wonder if there's a secret society I don't know about. :wink:

I'm not I understand why with some of these maps it's not possible for people to choose which version of the map they use. Some people might prefer to use the older version, so for maps with revamps, why can't there be options for which version the user prefers to use?

I love the revamps but others apparently don't.

I know we are not supposed to show each other our maps but I can't help it.
Here is a taste of what the competition is in for.

CANADA revamp map!

There's an explanation for this.

Space Alien = Pot is legal in Canada
Underwater = Global Warming hits
Sci-Fi = Use your imagination
This is an accurate tepiction of the country.

I don't know about secret society, but I tend to like and trust cartographers that have helped me alot on my maps I have made like Gimil and DiM. Even though I won't play DiM's map because it confuses me he's still the bomb.

I've only had the one version from you RK.

There are some really nice efforts for this revamp and I'm expecting some close competition. I'm looking forward to posting them all up next week.
