done
1. fixed short/long screwy borders
2. made u'rl dock more visible
3. replaced rock golems with troglodytes
4. faded the blood water.
5. reworded the lyches decay text in the legend
6. muted blue text in ice elementals continent


to do
1. replace power rune for pit fiends
2. add flowy molten rivers, barren land and stuff for the pit fiends
3. make rock golems/troglodytes land texture smoother so that text is easier to read.
4. add icons for easy recognition in the legend
5. rename runes to fire water ice life, etc

1. changed rune names to life, ice, fire, rage, etc
2. changed the rune icon for pit fiends. the dwarven hammer was out of place
3. added icons for easy recognition in the legend.
4. changed troglodyte texture to a better suited one that's also easier to read.
5. changed troglodyte text

to do:

1. add flowy molten rivers, barren land and stuff for the pit fiends

the Sanctuary is sort of a contradiction; I'm not sure if you wanted it that way.

it depends on the point of view. the blood waters make it a true sanctuary by providing a great defence.

I don't like the green and gold names - they look ugly...

Also I'd like to see the legend reordered...

i.e. some kind of order!!!

I'd probably go with

Figye
Sanctuary
Borun
Ghyr
Mua

Also - have you considered an 8th player?

Perhaps have the 8th start have no castle - but gets 1 or 2 territories within each segment...

Also - what are your considerations for Neutrals?

the whole pit fiend continent will be redone. that includes the names.

the legend is just for informative purposes right now. it will be made nicer in the future updates. change font reorder the races. with humans first and sanctuary last.

the neutrals will be places after the map reaches the main foundry.

as for the 8th player i actually wanted to add it where the legend is now. a water realm. but i have no place for that.

as for making it start with various terits here and there i say no. i like the idea of having each player start with a castle/sanctuary. plus i don't have much options of terits to place the 8th guy. 7 will have to be enough.

It is obvious this trilogy has been a great succces, so everyone would prefer 8 players, consequently, couldnt you put a link onto the map which has a pop up with the legend in it, like the pop ups that pop up when you click on a map in Start a game page, they only take aout a second to pop so why cant this happnen on a map, this would allow for the 8th castle.

Figye and Xi both have a much more liquidy feel about there tecture, im still not happy with the satuary either butits impriving.

By the way I want my name incorporated into a terr as well :P

hmm, why not?

i already explained this but here it is again. all the blood waters have -10 and they can be one way attacked from any port. so if you attack there and come with 20 troops you can't fortify them back so you must either leave them there and let them decay of venture forth into the island where a nasty army may wait. :twisted: so you'll have to think twice before attacking the blood waters.

probably some time in the future there will be a welcoming message in the game log and that welcoming message will point to the map info pages. but even with that i still think legends will be mandatory.

2. changed terit name colour for pit fiends.

2. turn mountain into volcano
