Don't listen to him. Army circles would ruin the map.

I'm still having problems running the XML through the mapmaker tool... I don;t know if it's the laptop of the XML (file, url or host)... the url has a double-slash ("//") in it - is that right?

Finally found time on the PC to check - not too sure if the mapmaker wasn;t working due to the XML or my laptop or a combination of both :-k

Anyway...

          Beta - Quenching

---The Final Forge period has concluded for the Germany Revamp. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Beta Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready for BETA Play. After an extended period of time in BETA and once all quirks and issues have been resolved, the map will be put into Full Play (barring any Lack vetoes).

Conquer Club, enjoy!

Hey! It's a very nice map, but I've noticed the error with Trier also and Nürnberg is spelt wrong. (It's Nürmberg on the map).

hehe, I also wanted to report the typo with Trier, good that it's already been recognised.

Funnily enough the misspelled version of Nürnberg sounds more like we pronounce this city here in some Bavarian dialects.
But it must be "Nürnberg", of course :D

on the small map, can u widen the waterway between bremen and lübeck a touch? the border with braunschweig looks nearly like a four-way and, in a recent game (the one where u gained ur hat - congrats!), i found myself looking very closely at this border more than once.

I've been meaning to request this for some time, but I have just added the following text to the guidelines for the Forge:
While the map is nearing the end of the Beta phase, the mapmaker(s) will be asked to populate the Map Portal Database.

I'd be grateful if somebody would be willing to oblige, and could notify in this thread once it's done... Thank you! O:)

one country is named Trier and the drop-down of countries you and your team own, the country is spelled Frier - or maybe it's vice-versa.
