One small thing, now that you have the ferry routes, the <> indicates bothways, and the use of that symbol at all are superfluous. If you simply state that ferry routes connect two territories, people will understand just fine, as this is the not the first map to use random searoutes to balance gameplay (Malta, Italia, e.g.).

I can understand what you're saying, but they do go someway towards ensuring there is no doubt, and besides they fill all the real estate down there so i am happy to leave them there if they're doing no harm. :)

I think once we start playing the map the role of the roads will be clear. The one thing I'd like to see is that you either further lighten the bridges or lose them altogether. They aren't adding anything to the graphics, and only lead to play confusion.

Well, roads can be barriers to movement if you don't have a car....mmmm that's another theme that could be expanded on...i wonder if it would work on this???
I'll look into perhaps making the bridges more transparent, depends on the decision made re above statement for cars.

Could you build a tunnel from Revesby to the city, that would make it easier for me to get to work!

But seriously, I know you want it to appeal to others, but I think you should rename the opera house to circular quay, and make all the ferries go from there, just like the real thing.

too many ferries leave from there, and closest known icon is the opera house...so am kind of thinking it should stay the same as it is now. the ferries on the map are "extracts" from real ferry version. ;)

Version 19.

Changes:
1. Title
2. Impassables now made to exclude the buses via Freeways
3. Bus Depot icons added to certain terts to allow attack via the Freeways, thus giving justification for the existance of the freeways in the first place.

The whole buses idea is very confusing to me at this moment. Are bus depots only able to attack adjacent bus stops, any bus stops, what? Some clarification would be grand.

For graphics the only real issue I see is the pedestrian xings. I feel they could be much neater.

Apart from that I dont think I have any further complaints

On a graphics note, I like the addition of the Opera House, though using a photo clashes with style of the map I think. Could you perhaps use the photo as a base and "draw" it to fit the style of the map?

Im going to agree, also the texture you have used on the skin toned part of the legends doesnt fit the feel of your map either. I think sticking with a solid color is the way forward.

Washing hogs? :) Didn't Gimil ask you to organize your thread? ;)

On Topic, is it also possible to make the legend names bolder? They look thin, faint, and might be easier to read if slightly more defined.

It seems pretty clear to me. It says, "Bus Depots can attack each other via the Freeways." What's not clear about that?

Mmmm. I understand what Andy says, and from previous use of photos which I know Andy doesn't really like, i'll see what i can do about that to appease.

TaCktiX...the map says "Bus depots can attack each other via the Freeways". I think that says everything it needs to say.

it would be cool if the bus depots only attacked clockwise around the map along the freeways) or anit-clockwise.
but i think it would be a lil confusing :(

oh dear t-o-m...that would confuse the hell out of some players, sorry. most have problems attacking in my other maps. i hope they can convert the bus depots to airports in this map, cos they seem to have no probs with airports attacking each other. :)
thanks for the suugestion though.
