oh dear this is all too depressing, when will they ever be satisifed...i don't know if i can carry on with this stuff of constantly having to please people who constantly complain.

either way, cairnswk, sometimes you're too sensitive about this stuff. in the past you've often snapped at people for basically nothing and come back and apologise later. putting it on vacation is much better than that. we're just trying to make your map better. I'm not going to pat your head and tell you all the things that are great about your map (which often is a lot). I'm going to tell what doesn't work to make the map better. if you don't like that then I won't do it anymore.

The Neon Peon wrote:Could you try to join the British and Kuwait words, so that they are one still one on top of another, but closer together? It is hard to tell that it is part of the same territory name with one work being on top of the territory, and the other at the bottom. I would suggest making them both to the right and center of the army circle so that both are in the lighter part of the Red Sea.

Here is an image with some stuff I circled that seem untidy, I know I know its nit picks but so what
MrBenn wrote:The river going through Anglo-Egyptian Sudan and British Egypt looks a bit out of place.... possibly it is too dark? If it were subtler it might blend slightly better??
I've been looking at the region names, and they just seem to grate with me.... Great Britain isn't on the map - you have British territories, but not Great Britain. It;s the same with Italy and France - they're Italian and French... I know you've changed them before, but it's got to the stage where it just bugs me, for no other reason than it sounds wrong
Apart from those niggles, and my uncertainty about the coastline effect (the seas looks odd with that thick band of darker colour), the map is shaping up nicely
