Since the map has gone live, there have been no real issues with imbalance.... looks like job done to me.

---The Beta period has concluded for the Austerlitz Map. All objections have had their time. The Foundry and I hereby brand this map with the Foundry Brand. Let it be known that this map is now ready to be released into live play.

I understand you put work into this but I genuinely think it isn't up to a good enough level. Most maps that have been going through the process for a year are better. There have been 5 versions compared to most maps 20 something.

I agree with demon fork, the graphics aren't as good as many of the now upgraded maps. This map needs serious graphical reworking, the gameplay is fine from the game I've seen but the graphics are not suited to the modern day foundry

EDIT: I was discussing this with ManBungalow and he agrees

I think it's perfectly fine. Gives a good feel for a "battlefield".

at first I was like WTF is this... But this map is great. One of the best. Beautiful in a real war way.

thank you.

edit- to expound... you know why I love it? you did not use game play gimmicks, crazy themes, or anything totally crazy to get this map going. You took a real life great battle, and made a very straight forward fun map to play that looks great once you figure out what is going on.

I like this map a lot -- have been playing most of my games on it recently. Thanks! Just one small thing: the bonus for Alexander and Liechtenstein is called "Allied emperors" -- Alexander was a tsar, which is something like an emperor, but Liechtenstein was a prince, which is nothing like an emperor. They should be called "Allied commanders/leaders/rulers/monarchs" or something like that. By the way, why is the French spelling used for "Alexandre"? Whereas the German/Austrian names are used for the towns (e.g. "Pratzen", which is "Prace" in Czech).

Again, many thanks for a great map =D>

thanks for your support
as the battle was won by Napoléon
all the map is named from the French point of view
but the legend has to be in English for players
Liechtenstein does represent the Austrian emperor
and the coalition was called the allied emperors by the French
