looking brilliant once again qwert ... i'll need some time to check it out properly ... but just quickly ... have you set any value for the "win a war bonus"? - which seems like a agreat concept by the way.

* all your one way attacks seem un-attackable ... or are these starting positions? (if so they don't need neutral values)

* no bonus regions is good ... stick to the "win a war" bonuses.

* would suggest that the hoplites are autodeploy

*(hehe, i like that the roman ship has made a cross over onto this map)\

*as always - the inset and bonus descriptions will need to be seperated/isolated from the rest of the map a little more ... maybe coup them up a little more tightly in the corner down there.

1.These is start positions,and that why i put one way attack markers(numbers its not neutral values,its only shows how many you have starting positions)
2.Win a war Bonuses?What to say,i thinking that you dont get any bonuses for holding a shields,unfortunatly for these map,all importan cities whas in south,and to close to each others-Sparta,athens,Corintians,Boeotians, so if i get some bonuses for shield,people who conquer peloponessian south will be in big advantage,and i dont want to create these,so its best to stay without bonuses.
3.I will try to do that,space is very big problem.
4.Hoplites-its open for any sugestion,if you have idea where to put hoplites,or if you think that i need more hoplites,you may say.
5.Ships--in these time every body have similar ships,i use ship from Imperium Romanum,and only shange colours.

These what you say is gameplay objectives,if you "Capture Shields to win a war" these mean that you win a games if you hold all shield. You not need any bonuses,because game is over.

A few things, qwert:

1. after das schloss, I'm concerned about a map where no one can kill anyone else. In the das schloss revamp cairns put in a couple of helicopters with very high neutrals that would bombard the starting positions, so that way people can still be killed (tho with some difficulty). Why not just have starting positions? They're far enough apart that players will be able to have decent footholds before coming into contact.
2. are you planning on having a connection between sporadians and somewhere on the turkish coast? (maybe the halicarnassans)
3. the starting spots are wildly uneven in terms of access to hoplites, i.e. Dardanians and Skyros have to go only one terit, but the romans and persians have to go a lot farther.
4. do you have some idea what the neutral values will be? that'll help judge the gameplay and flow of the map
5. just to make sure: the objective is to hold all 8 shields, right?

1.Main problem with das schloss,is to give very huge bonuses,here you dont have these,you start with regular numbers of army,and these mean 3.Now if these cause any problem in game,then will be quit easy to change,just change XMl to be normal territory,and erase one way borders in map,and these will not cause any problem if games all ready start. For now i will stay one way attack.
2.You have very good eye,i dont notice that.Well probably is best to connect with Halicarnasians.
3.Well,i noted these in previous post,that i just put hoplites,and that everybody can give hes view,where to put hoplites,and how many is need hoplites on these map.so you can give yours view,where will be need to put hopiltes.
4.Still not have idea,its open for all to give hes oppinion abouth neutral value.
5.Yes,i have fell that these words look apropriate,instead to add something like"Gameplay objective-hold all 8 shields"

Qwert, the map is looking good - sorry for not commenting sooner...

My main concerns at the moment are about clarity - it isn't entirely clear that the objective is to capture all the shields.

The other thing that needs attention is balancing the gameplay.

Graphics as always are fantastic qwert. You're an asset to the site.

The one area I found difficult was the inset of Corinth and Boetia, it took me a while to work out where on the map it was. Is it possible to draw some sort of boundary around that region of the map, then have an arrow pointing to the inset? The inset almost looks like it's an island west of Crete at the moment, as there is nothing to distinguish it as an inset.

The objective needs to be clear from the map - the bit on the legend about the shields doesn't make it clear that is the objective.
I'm not sure you need the inset for Corinth and Boetia - is there any way you can get the army circles near the territories?

I think the objective wording would be better if it was "Capture Shields to win the war"

Are you sure there isn't room on the main map for the Corinthian/Megarian circles? If you swap the Boetian circle/shield, you could use some of the sea, or possibly tweak the borders a tiny bit? What do others think?

2.Im all ready work in boeotians to fit hes circle and Shield and name. Map inset is best option to not create unecessary squeze solution. If i can fit,i will all ready create that,but i realy dont have space to put circles. Map inset help to these area be very good visible,and to not be confusing

Why are the three shields right next to the inset? 2 of them border each other, then the third is a territory away... shouldn't they be a little farther apart at least?
