I'm not sure those are the only options. There was an issue with the rose/brew bonus before and simply reverting back to that doesn't seem all that helpful. Hopefully, we can come up with another options.

In the meantime, there are several outstanding graphic issues which I have addressed with this recent update, so I'd like to focus on that for a minute and come back to this bonus issue.

I really like more the new trees. :)

Before I send the updated images to lackattack, can I ask you if you can remove that black pixel in the third square from the top, on the left side of the portland airport region? I know it's small but I noticed it in a second. O:)

The new trees kinda look like tiny green coctail umbrellas to me :lol:

But that's ok, they fit the style of the map, so they're fine.

Yep, I like it. Great job limbo!

I never found the roses and beer bonuses an issue. Lowering the bonus a little to 5 may be a good idea though.

It seems the last issue that needs to be resolved are the rose/brew bonuses. There have been a lot of suggestions (from 5 to 10).

5 seems too low to make the bonus attractive. 7 seems too high for good drops.

I'm inclined to split the difference and go with 6 troops for holding either the rose or brew territories.

Would that works for everyone?

I don't really think that 5 is too low. However, can it just be coded in the XML so that it isn't dropped? If the 2 aren't dropped then it wouldn't be as big of an issue.

I don't really think that 5 is too low. However, can it just be coded in the XML so that it isn't dropped? If the 2 aren't dropped then it wouldn't be as big of an issue.


Adding two more neutrals would make for uneven drops. Back in gameplay development, it was determined this setup was the fairest. If I tinker with this, we'll have to completely revisit this and come up with a different way to keep it even. Is that really worth it?

I'm not advocating adding two more neutrals. I meant to force one of each of those two bonuses to be 2 of the neutrals to start. At least in 1v1 and 3 player games.

Hello fellow map founders,

I have a problem on an ongoing game running #10382251. It seems since a couple of days Old town change to Chinatown on the map but in China town max in the menu, and Oldtown max in Chinatown. Seems also that Chinatown is connected to Beaverton max. At the end i'm not sure i have to rely on the map i see or the map from the menu.
