I've been working on this Revamp for two and a half months

These what i say double fast then others map. But its good when i see that Andy, whit preasure of so many people Final Forged and quenched so many maps in very fast time, these i love to se.
Guiscard, if you mean that people dont right to say hes opinion, without writing insulting words(like crap, shit, stupid, moron), Then you have very strange criterium. I will continue with my opinion, in nice conversation, and i will never wrote these insulting words, like some people wrote. Ofcourse i know that you will love to se that i never put any coment, or to every time say only good thing for Keyogy work, but i realy dont want to write something whats not true.

i think its perfect now Keyogi..Well done with the border outlines. I dont think there should be any confusion now and as Guiscard says it makes the map alot nicer...

On Large map Istanbul still doesnt touch but it is such a small thing you should decide if it should be amended...

Congrats and hope to play on this map soon....

Next revamp should be Tamirel coz it is a wonderful map :) :) :) :)

No changes. Just putting up all the current images and XML so there's no confusion with the images above.

P.S. I'm going to start deleting posts if there's anymore XML quotes.

Ofcourse i know that you will love to se that i never put any coment, or to every time say only good thing for Keyogy work, but i realy dont want to write something whats not true.

qwert- Since this is a revamp of an existing map, Keyogi cannot change the layout or gameplay. The only thing he is doing is changing the image so its more appealing. Most maps have to sort out all gameplay issues as well, and since this one doesn't it SHOULD be finished much faster than other maps. 2.5 months is much longer than I ever thought it would take, especially because the images have looked very similar for a while now. The lack of drastic changes generally indicates that people are satisfied with the map.

i think this is ready to go. there's 3 different ways to tell where a continent is, colour, thick borders, and the name over the area.

it looks great.

Hmm... I originally put the glow there to keep it consistent with the text in the territories. It looked a bit too sharp without the glow effect there. If it's an issue I can post a version without, but I think it looks best with the glow.

i've been watching this map's progress for awhile, and I thought i'd pipe in my two cents.

I think it's pretty much perfect- I love the colors, they look great and they seem reminiscient of the old map, which is a cool effect. It makes it really seem like a revamp rather than a remake.

Great job Keyogi- it look wonderful, and i can't wait to play it!

Keyogi...nice updates....looking very good.
Is there any chance of moving the region/territory names away from other names where they are not interfered with by other names?...I think this would unclutter the text aspects. i.e. move egypt down above the upper nile...arabia is fine....afghanistan needs to move away from bactria....taurus needs to move right - away from turkey....near east could be a challenge but not impossible....iran needs to move perhaps right -away from khuzestan...only some little things but i'm sure the map would benefit from these.

Egypt - can't go up because of the lake, looks too strange when moved down.
Afghanistan - I don't understand, it's in the middle of the territory and doesn't touch the Bactria label.
Taurus - there's not really anywhere to move it to and it doesn't touch the Turkey label at any point.
Near East - not really any options here either. It was further left at some point, but looks better more centred.
Iran - it's right in the middle of four territories, I see no benefit in moving it.

I love the map you have created. the only problem i see is that when you put the armies numbers on, it completely spoiled the map. :?

Unless you revamp the map I don't think anybody other than the cartographers are going to notice a change. This map looks done unless you decide to revamp the map and change the colors of everything

I wonder if the map would look less jarring with the army numbers if you put circles in... I know that's a pain, but it might help.
