Sorry for the delays, will have the large version updated by the weekend ( perhaps as early as Thursday), Mr Benn.

Thanks--

I think you'll need to take out the Chicago Transit Autorithy logo from the train, we don't want copyright issues, do we?

The rest is awesome, it has the classic sim city appeal.

Fair call... you could replace the 'cta' with the stylised 'sl' from your signature?

              Final Forge

---The Chicago Map has reached the ā€˜Final Forgeā€™ Stage. The map has passed rigorous gameplay and graphics examinations, and major concerns have been addressed. If you have any other concerns, please make your voice heard. If after a reasonable amount of time there has not been any objection or protest, the map will be deemed finished with the 'Foundry Brand' of approval and will be submitted for live play. As long as there is still discussion or posts that have yet to be commented on, the map will remain in Final Forge until said discussion has reached the conclusion that the map has reached its final and polished version.

Post questions and concerns if any.

Congratulations, Scott-Land! Good to see this moving forward.

At the risk of sounding like a nag, can I draw your attention back to my comment on the legend? I think the concept of ground-level and elevated stations is a nice way of sorting out the rules of attack.

Thanks everyone for all your help especially Tisha, George and Laddi ( for keeping me on track to finish it ). !!

Think I have the XML completed-- now to see if I did it correctly. Do I post it in here or what ?

ps: I sent you a pm ender, maybe you can convey to me what it is you'd like for me to do w/out having to go back through all the posts again. Thx.

Thanks for the PM. I have answered, but will restate here for the benefit of onlookers:

Looking back, it seems the problem has been resolved. There were some issues with the phrase "the territory in which it occupies" which has become "the territory it occupies" which seems to get the message across. I was just a little proud of my concept of "ground-level stations" and "elevated stations" as a way of distinguishing what you call "territory rail stations" and just plain "rail stations". Rereading what is on the map now, I see it works just fine.

Congratulations again on reaching FF. I really enjoy the NYC map, and look forward to trying this one so that I can "contrast and compare", as my English teachers used to say.

Not sure if there's an error in my xml or the tester is on the fritz. There were no errors when I ran it last week, but now I'm getting a title error. All the coordinates for the armies appear to be in order as well as the bonus regions-- Map Inspect for Continent Overview and Text Map. Everything except for this:

line 3: <title>Chicago</title> - Did not expect element title there
Summary: 1 errors and 0 warnings detected in xml.txt

show: XML

show: Text Map

Yeah the only thing I changed was some coordinates by a few pixels on 3 or so territories-- not sure what caused the error, assuming it's not on my end. Nevertheless, I forwarded the links of the images, and file to Forza. Thanks.

http://h1.ripway.com/ScottLand/ChicagoXMLFinal--

Also made a couple of coordinate adjustments to center Little Village and Roseland and-- lightened the Loop Rail Station color so it wouldn't appear to be part of just the Blue Line. Dunno know why the url for the xml doesn't display but has to be downloaded. Other than that, she's all ready for a roll in the sack with some assault cubes. ;)
