update notification dialog box


Concise description:
when site gets updated, changed, downtime etc,
there is a dialog box when you log in warning you of any of the above only need to happen first or second times you log in.
currently saw a big dialog box explaining there would be down time cool great good communication, what about what was changed whilst site was down?

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
will help with any confusion when joining any game type with new add on
will help with communication between powers that be and the minions
will help notify everyone of the great new features and add ons

cool does this pop up when you log in
or do you have to check it every day just to see if something has changed

After you notice something changes, the announcements would be a good place to look.

Just scroll by it in the forums maybe once a day if you really want, If the most recent topic changes from "Update: 10/10" or whatever it is you should check it unless its an old topic.

after is to late that is the issue
you might not notice things change for days weeks months or not at all especially if you not familiar with the forums
a notification would also highlight changes to these members which could only be a good thing surely

check back there whenever you see the site down. Typically they also put a link on the home page within an hour or two of coming back live.

cool never noticed before probably guess most members haven't either
so why not have this news feed pop up when you log in when changes have been made
