There’s things like losing players cuz they are getting cut from playing w their friends to consider, so they don’t spread out they just leave

This is true, but I wonder if that would lead to a fair amount of semi-active or inactive players - who would otherwise eventually keep playing - never returning to competitive play. I've been in that category a few times during my time at KoRT/S&M, and I doubt I would return to clan play (or even CC at all) if I came back and my old clan with my old friends was inaccessible.
Maybe that accounts for so few people that it doesn't matter in the grand scheme, who knows.

Maybe there could be an active and inactive roster. If you are inactive you can still play any number of games, just not clan games...If you came back you wait until there is an opening on the active roster. We have people that have left that I would step aside for if they came back. I don't know if this would work, its just another idea.

My thought was like a sports team w each catagory having its own limit.
Active roster - active players
Short term injured reserve - short term absenses
Long term IR - long term / unknown duration absenses
But I agree w nimic, davekettering and I were discussing a bit. There are definite concerns that would have to be addressed before something like this could be approached

KORT grabbed TSM. Perhaps my first choice for a merger.
Off the top of my head I really can't see any obvious choice for us today. LoW would be very...fitting considering the history behind our clans, but I really don't know enough about LoW today to even remotely comment, nor do I pay attention to the clan-scene as Ice or Rock do, so hard to comment seriously.
S&M & TOFU merging would be extremely counterproductive for the scene.
That said (as has been discussed at reasonable lengh in this thread), if I would daydream about anything it would be smaller clans. A limit on membership. A merger is not even on the horizon.

I’m not Lebron James, or Dwayne Wade, or Kevin Durant (its been discussed and if CC is basketball then am Michael Cooper from the show time Lakers). I don’t want to team with S&M or Fallen. I want to beat them.

I try not to write stuff that would make them think I'm against them, but if I said any clan other than TOFU would be the rightful #1 I would be ashamed of myself. There's nothing wrong with appreciating the skill of others, but I see no reason why TOFU can't be the the #1 clan and also no reason why TOP WOULD be the #1 clan over TOFU/S&M.

this war still seems so close to me, after a quick scan i think it looks like S&M can finish with 31-32 wins barring any setbacks/bad luck.
i also see S&M/TOFU as #1 clans. We beat TOFU by 1 game in that last war and the amount of luck i had in many games was much more than usually. No doubt my clan mates came up with brilliant plans/strategies to give us the best chances to facilitate a win. But where TOFU had us in that war i think 8 times out of 10 they would have won it. Maybe even 9 times out of 10.
In this war with FALL we still could lose or also only win by 1 game, but at least in my games (i know it's a small sample size) i think we haven't needed as much luck to win and i have seen mistakes by both us (S&M) and Fall. When we played TOFU i wasn't seeing mistakes and it just always felt like an uphill battle or how i feel when i play josko.
I am thrilled with S&M, have so much fun with my mates, and many of the players and leaders in our clan put in so much effort into making us great. I also have great respect for FALL and am not trying to be a TOFU cheerleader, but i couldn't say S&M was better than TOFU in our last war. Hopefully when we play TOFU again we wont find ourselves in that spot and wont need to have luck hold our hand.
In this current war with Fall I got ridiculously lucky in the tie breaker on the classic map where we should have lost and I had perfect luck on a hail mary (it was quite ridiculous). But it felt like I had many games like that in the semi finals vs TOFU.
This one is still quite exciting, i bet soon our scores will be close as we race to the finish!

CL8: S&M - TOP - LHDD
CL7: LHDD - FALL - TOFU (LHDD and FALL tied in points, LHDD win on GD)
CL6: TOFU - ACE - FALL
CL5: KORT - ??? - ??? (photobucket doesnt load final standings)
CL4 and beyond - tough to get data out of the completed wars forums.
