With Middle Ages gone, our mighty Avi8or had to win BOTH Baltic Crusades AND Gallipoli to give us a chance.
Oh we prayed (and drank) hard on those. Baltic now looks good & Gallipoli may have turned our way you say?

I look at that as that we lost 7-5 versus ACE in 2 rounds before the end when we were in the leading position, and also you tied vs RET 6-6 in the last round. Therefore, 1 match decider secured you 1 point in the last round and 1 match decider gave win to ACE in the round before that. If any of those match deciders went other way, we would win the League.

Okay, well you look at it whatever way you like. But I don't think anybody counts that as the whole event being won by one game.
The final table doesn't lie. The game swing count required for you to even draw level was 3.
I remember it vividly. As soon as LHDD stopped messing around and finally won their second game against you we were able to relax.


By the way, we will likely win the overall game count in this poly thingy with TOFU as well. Possibly by quite a few games.
Indeed a hollow victory that makes even Hilary look like champion of the world and Queen of the Universe.
Hard not to feel ripped off. Perhaps tie-breakers should be played at the end of a war instead?
