Greetings fellow fire breathers,

normally I'd open up a broadside on you lot, however as we don't have a forum to berate each other at current I'm going to ask you a few questions instead.

1) Would you be interested in starting up a social user group with the purpose of providing a canvas for those talented combustion artists to unleash their colourful metaphors upon?

2) Would you be interested in helping to run this user group? i.e. - Admitting new users, monitoring content, kicking out deliberate thread saboteurs, etc

3) Would you like to see the content from Flame Wars(currently inaccessible) copied/moved into the forum of this new user group?

For those of you who want to join I'll add you to the list below, once we have 10 or more names on the list we can see about applying for a user group.

I just want to gage the level of interest before making it official and applying to start a new user group. Please reply to this thread if you're interested in firing up a new furnace!

I second Grimreaper. and Killerpit4e as leaders.

I see it's been moved to Callouts, I wasn't going to make it official UNTIL I had 10 names, but seeing as we're here now......

I would have to disagree. Grimreaper. should be the only leader. I think that he has proved himself to be capable and widely respected among the community.

i have much more experience then alot of people know

• i am a mod on 2 sites
• i run my own forum and chat
• i have leadership skills
• i know how to get things done and done correctly

You misunderstand.

Grimreaper. is the best man for the job. Allowing anyone else to moderate or administrate would be an insult to his character. Hell, we should just make him head of CC. Lackattack doesn't even do anything anyways

He wanted to mod the group, it's a tedious task and if he wants to do it then I'm fine with that. Besides, it'll do him some good and put hairs on his chest!
