so my point is please stop that new target thing, completely stupid feature here on the site ( sorry for the one who thought of that ) but it's plain stupid

It would be too easy if you didn't get another live target because the target would never deploy any troops. .
What I usually do if my target starts missing turns is mass my troops so I can hit the new target when it comes up. Its less than perfect, but if you attack your target and don't kill it, you have wasted the troops and if you attack someone else and your target comes back you have also wasted them. Sometimes its worth it to try and take out your target before they deadbeat but its a gamble - usually only worth it on small maps.

Well how is it fair to the other player? Suddenly one player has NOBODY going after them. They don't have to worry about being eliminated. Also you have a player who doesn't deploy, who doesn't attack, or doesn't do anything. How is it fair to anybody else?

i hear you, but, he just have to play the game and not deadbeat, if not, like i said, it's unfair to me .... so it's still unfair for someone ... you get my point here ?

How do you know something hasn't come up in life? People do have real lives that do come before some Risk-based website. For all you know he could have lost all internet, it has happened to me before. He could have had to go somewhere that had no access to the internet. Maybe even a family emergency. You can't expect everyone to go full out on a gaming website just to make you happy.

Having your target be "neutral" isn't fair. Here is a reasonable suggestions (though it would be a pain to implement):
If someone deadbeats in an assassin game, the game gets put on temporary hold. There is a tab next to "Join Game" where people can find assassin games where someone has deadbeated. Anyone can then join the game (or "sub in") in place of the deadbeater. In terms of points, if the sub loses, it is the same as if the deadbeater has lost (they lose points and their score is used for calculations). If the sub wins, no points are exchanged (its not fair for players to lose points to someone they weren't expecting to play).
This accomplishes a few things: 1. assassin games don't get messed up by deadbeaters. 2. players with little experience with assassin games can "sub in" and play games at no risk to themselves.

No. This won't happen. #1. All Games are for points, as points are to be a measure of skill, not a currency. #2. It would be difficult to code.
