[SCSY] Point Change Determined at Time of Elimination

OK, so I play an 8 player game and all 8 players are majors. The game goes in to a deadlock and there is no end in site. I am eliminated.....by another major....I should lose around 20 points for this. During the course of the next 200 rounds I make Brigadier and the major who eliminated me wins the game but falls to corporal and now I lose 50 points or so........which is not cool. My suggestion would be to lose or gain the amount of points when a player is eliminated....like a terminator game, in all games. It is not fair, either way, to win or lose points based on the rank at the end of a game. What do you guys think??

If you don't like this happening, your alternative is to play terminator games exclusively, as you stated. The solution is already present, and besides, you'll get your terminator gold quicker

Must admit that I don't see this as that big of a problem but then again I've never bothered much with what my rank/score is.

That said I've always though that it is odd that the points you stake isn't set at the start of the game.

The whole point of the current point system is to be a measure of your skill. You don't go into a game staking a certain amount of points on it. You go in to win, and points will be added to your score based on how good you are on average compared to your opponents. The only exception to this is terminator games..

i always do this in 8player-games.. if i eliminate someone i make sure to drop to private before game ends.. just as much fun each time..
seriously though.. you cant make up for those 30 extra points somehow? its a silly idea and you good sir seems to be kind of a cheapskate..
