So basically this just applies to Christians?

what about a week off for Hanukkah for all people of Jewish Faith or a Eid-ul Adha for those who follow Islam?

lets not forget the Hindus with Diwali or Kwanzaa for those of African descent. And lets not forget that not religions have holidays on or around those 2 days you mention that are of major importance nor does most of the world stop for those 2 days.

This is an international site and for you to ask for something that only views the world as Christian is well - just predictable I suppose that the world would be seen from a singular perspective

Only about 33% of the world is Christian in faith and thats dropping daily

This is an open ended can of worms - you could site non religious holidays of importance as well do we allow for the 4th of July but not the days of independence of other places? The list goes on and on

as woody sagely pointed out, enlist a friend who practices different customs than you to take your turns if your culture/religious obligations keep you from CC.
