I have been following all the disscussion going on about account sitting and wondered if the following would be possible.

For each account to have a secondary password to be handed out to account sitters.

The idea is that a sittter could log on with this secondary password but would have to do so from their own account.

The secondary password could be set to allow the following:
the sitter could only log in if the person they are sitting for is off-line
the name of the sitter taking a turn would be automatically displayed in the game log.
that the sitter would be allowed to take turns and join ongoing tournaments and nothing else.

This would mean that sharing the password for the full account could be banned and might stop some of the arguments about whether an account is being abused.

I know nothing of coding/implementing these types of things, but it seems like it would be a lot of work.

Aside from that, it doens't sound like a bad idea. It would solve the problems we're currently having regarding sitting...

this has been suggested 10 times over. Something like this is in the works.
