* Suggestion Idea:
basically it is a button that allows every player to view the map, positions in the map, who is playing and where they are on the map, Teams (if any) and where they are in relation to each other.
....Without any time starting...that way player one...who may have created the game, and was waiting a day or two for people to join...
won't miss a turn if he happens to have a situation that prevented him from doing so...
Like being away from a computer for the weekend....

* Specifics: just use the same ENTER GAME Button

* Why it is needed: an option to the weekend pause ... allows players (TEAMS specifically) to converse if a weekend pause is needed so they all know
* Priority** (1-5): 3

1 = Bottom of 'To Do' list
5 = Urgent, implement with next update

We already have that button. It's called "Join Game".

Why would we want to wait around for players to say they're ready? They say they're ready to take their initial turn within 24 hours when they sign up for the game.

I have to say this makes no sense, however I could be misunderstanding your idea since it wasn't made clear with the official suggestion form.
