Concise description:
  • After a fog of war game, instead of just having the log 'reveal' itself, it would be awesome to be able to click through the map and see, graphically, how the game unfolded on the map

Specifics/Details:
  • All of the old information that is available in the log would be available in the map, making it easier to use
It could also include how many troops were on each territory after each turn, which would make reviewing a foggy game much more interesting as you could see how your opponents distributed their troops
I searched for similar suggestions and couldn't find any

How this will benefit the site and/or other comments:
  • IT would make foggy games much more fun

It would also benefit against cheats, as you would then be able to see if people are cheating on foggy games, which at present you can't

This has been suggested several times, but will not be available until a huge overhaul of the Game Log system is complete.

One question, If you take snapshots in fog games do they reveal what the entire map looked like after the game is done? If it does, the problem is solved!

No. Snapshots can only record what you can see.

No thanks. I don't want opponents looking back at my tactics and where my stacks were in fog games.
