Individual Map, Style achievements:
These were suggested in another forum. It would mean a LOT of individual medals. (currently there are over 80 maps, 6 game "types", plus 2 playing modes (freestyle/seq), 2 speeds, 3 card types, etc. That quickly becomes just too, too many!
I would like to see:
Freestyle and Sequential.... perhaps to replace "Standard" achievement, if necessary? Why? These require two very distinct types of play and attract distinct groups of players. Some do "crossover", but they should be separated.
Classic map achievement (since this is the most popular map)
Perhaps NO Card/Flat/Escalating medals
Perhaps Fog of War if the above included ... fro completeness, as suggested
Higher medal levels (Platinum, Diamond, Emerald, etc.)
I prefer "endurance" ... a consolation prize for playing a lot of games, rather than a "time in site" badge, but could see both.
I definitely do NOT like:
Win percentage (manipulatable and overall wins is more meaningful)
Total wins or Score plateau (prefer these as a badge or badges that change)
Prefer Trophies and/or Badges for the following, not medals
The Highest achiever medal (for each category) I like this, but it should be a trophy, not a medal. AND that you achieved this should be recorded in your profile somehow -- either as a badge or a seperate medal (with the number of each inside the medal and then a clickable explanation of which trophies were won in the profile)
Tournament champion
Conquerer achiever (the crown is temporary, this would be permanent)
Battle Royal winner
I would like to see floating trophies or badges for the top Classic winner, top Freestyle, Top Classic map players and perhaps top overall map player (for the one with the best average across all the maps) or overall CC player (for the top average across all the maps and styles ... this would not necesarily be the same as the Conquerer, the highest scorer, because you can get Conquerer by winning at only certain maps and styles).
AND, though it was not included above, I really liked the idea of recording each person's highest score in a badge, with different colors for the top individuals ( I believe it was Gold for the top 10 scores, Silver for the top 50 and Either bronze for the top 100 and clear/white for the rest OR just bronze for everyone past 50).
Also not included, I really think we need an award for folks who keep playing all the maps, including new ones. That is, right now, once you have won 5 times at 60 maps, there is nothing else left. What about one that not only required you to win at all the playable maps (anything deleted, such as Midkermia was for awhile, will be omitted, of course), but to KEEP winning to keep that badge. That not only encourages folks to play a variety of maps, but encourages them to keep playing and to try the newer maps.
