**Rejection Reason**

**If You Want That Kind Of Alliance Play Team Games**

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned before, but perhaps we could add a bit of "Diplomacy" to the games as a game option to ally with other players (like in Doubles & Triples) with the ability to ally, unally, not ally at all and such.

Yah not much different then what you currently could do in a 6 player game (for the hell of it), but you'd be able to take advantage of fortifications and the ability to have "uneven" alliances perhaps.

Update on this thought and Idea.

Suggestion: Alliance options for game extended beyond normal team play and/or for team play.

Full Description of Improvements:

During a normal game there are some things that would be nice to be able to use that are available in a team game especially after making negotiations during the game. During a normal game and further during an Elimination game it would make sense to have some sort of ticker that you could select to send a private message to an ally.

For example game settings: ((Elimination; Classic; Escalating; No Fog; 6 Players; Freestyle))

From POV: Green

I make a deal with Yellow in the game that we will have a 5 turn alliance, I place a number in the number of turns box and click on the button to make alliance with Member Yellow it makes a post in the ingame chat saying

!!PLAYER {BLUE} HAS OFFERED AN ALLIANCE FOR 5 TURNS TO PLAYER {YELLOW}!!

if the Yellow player accepts this offer he would press the button that has now appeared when he plays his next turn and a similar message would appear on the ingame chat along the lines of

!!PLAYER {YELLOW} HAS ACCEPTED ALLIANCE OFFER FOR 5 TURNS WITH PLAYER {BLUE}!!

or

!!PLAYER {YELLOW} DENIES ALLIANCE OF 5 TURNS WITH PLAYER {BLUE}!!

this would
  1. Cut down on complaints of people thinking they have entered an alliance and therefore play in that way and then getting taken out by the person they thought they had an alliance with
  2. Cut down on unknown alliances as it would add advantages for using this method
  3. Hinder the ability to have secret alliances

Advantages to be added to official alliances:

  1. Being able to use teamchat options
  2. Being able to See Each others cards
  3. Being able to see each others information in a Fog of War Game and adding a "Shared Vision" to all allies
  4. Being able to move troops to your allies territories to help in your goal while in the alliance

Thank you for your time I know this is a long dead topic and has already been denied but I think things like this are reasons that this could be more powerful of a tool than basic Team Play
