Basically, since the "slideshow" feature popped up, I have barely had to check the My Games page. So I guess it works marvelously. However, this also means that I don't generally know when I'm playing a tournament game, since the only indication of a tournament game is generally the heading on the Games page.

I think tournament headings should be listed somewhere on the gameplay screen. I'm not sure where, but it should be somewhere.

It's needed because sometimes the goal of a tournament isn't necessarily to win the the specific game. It could be to get the most points in a round, to win the majority of a group of games, or some other format. In those cases you would need to know that your only real objective remaining in a game is to prevent player A from winning more than ensuring you win yourself.

It's also needed because for people who might play multiple games on the same gametype (I like Pearl Harbor ) then it would help them make sure that they are taking their time. Sometimes I don't necessarily take the full amount of time I should to consider each move. I do for my tournament games - or at least I try to, when I can remember which games are tournament games to begin with.

Priority: Probably a 2.

I like it. Especially if you would happen to win a tourney game, it is easier to find out what tourney thread to post in if you can see it in the game window.

I would support this improvement. I don't believe it would be terribly hard to do and knowing if you are in a tournament game or not really does have an effect on the strategy you use.

If it is a one and done style tournament, you just go for the win no matter what, but if it is a "scoring" tournament sometimes your tactics change because the result of 5 games altogether is what advances you and not that single game.

Yes, now that we have the "next game" link showing the tournament is a higher priority.

The question is, where should it show?

It should also display whether or not it is a speed game.

Maybe above the game number it could say "Tourney name Here" or say "speed game" or whatever. It'd be especially cool if when you clicked on the tourney name, it took you to the thread.

What if on the right hand side of the map you bumped up the game number text a little bit, and moved everything else down just a tad. Then you could fit the title in right between the Game Number and Round Number.

That wouldn't be in the way, would it? You could make the text relatively small I would think so the longer titles don't spill into more than two lines at any time.

Might as well include "Private game" as well. It'd probably be easier to program if you just include all the titles.

That'd be really neat. If it's feasible I support this as well. It's make posting results for the tourney so much easier.

No idea! It'll probably be included in some update...as a minor add on. We'll see.

Way to co-ordinate this peeps, I suggest you inform the modders as well so that they can prepare a fix if needed.
