Save your username on your computer

Postby golilox on Wed Feb 14, 2007 9:30 am

Just a thought while I was signing in tonight.......

Wouldn't it be great to not have to type in your username and password everytime you come here like you can on other sites such as gmail etc. Just a suggestion for the team. To make things that little bit better than it already is.

My browser (Firefox) already does this for me.

****auto login or remember me button*****

Postby jsmith72 on Fri Jun 15, 2007 2:20 pm

<Subject>:
It would be nice to have an "auto login" or a "remember me button" on the sign in page

<Body>:
Suggestion Idea:It would be nice to have an "auto login" or a "remember me button" on the sign in page seeing as how you are only allowed one account...it would be a lot easier if you were just logged on when you hit the site

Specifics: Have a box on the sigh in page that says "Rember Me?" then you can click it if you want to always be loggen on the site

Why it is needed: To help create the login in process less of a time by continusul typing in your name and password..for someone who plays like all hrs of the day and has a long username or password this would help!! :D

Priority** (1-5):

3....its important but not "NOW"

This already exists. Get Greasemonkey for Firefox.

NO.
Many people dont have firefox.

EVERY site i have ever seen that requires you to log in has a "remember me" button except for CC.

We need this for the people that dont have/want firefox.

You don't even need the greasemonkey script for firefox. Simply press the yes to remember the password in the build-in function firefox has. I'm pretty sure internet explorer has the same function tbh.

I'd be fine with having it, as long as I don't have to deal with all the complaints of "hacked" accounts because people clicked "Remember Me" on a public computer.

Postby tito81 on Thu Sep 13, 2007 11:45 pm

Hi!

It would be great, if U will do something like ''remember me'' in login bar!
Now we need to put our username and password every time we would like to login.....

thanks

A cookie to remember me by

Postby Perrishnikov on Thu Sep 27, 2007 12:56 pm

How about a cookie so I dont have to type my name and password everytime I fire up the website. Then I could always be 'logged in'. Why? Because I am lazy...

I'm pretty sure IE7 has a password manager.

Opera does also.

...

Do you really need it site supported?
