I know I have suggested this before, I haven't heard anything about it. I think it is time to allow the Bank Option.

Concise description:

• Include new Game Option to eliminate players and teams from using deadbeat army accumulations and cards (banking) from a specific game.

Specifics:

• Game Option in the game creation page and would be shown (e.g. Fog of War but more like Bank). The option would allow the creator to choose whether or not she would desire to play a game with banked deadbeat armies or cards.

This will improve the following aspects of the site:

• By allowing for more involved game play and not encourage deadbeating during a game.

The Bank Option would disallow Deadbeats from accumulating deferred armies (for single players) and would disallow teams from taking advantage of a deadbeat players armies and cards.

I just think if Lack doesn't see a problem (and I don't either, I know some people have busy lives and can't be there for every single game!) with people deadbeating and their teams or themselves receiving a benefit from it, he should at least allow a game option so we can choose if we want to play with Banked Armies and Cards.

I did not mind the old system so much (where deadbeats only inherited armies NOT CARDS) it seemed fairer and offered no advantage to deadbeating.

Adding the banked cards into the bargain can tip the balance .. w did try to stop this banked cards for deadbeats thread

unfortunately the inheritance of cards means that many established players are thrust further to the bosom of other known opposition.

Does this idea even require discussion? Seems like a great idea and should be a given.

Hopefully Lack takes a minute to consider this option.

Yeah, the dubs game I am in right now has a team that is using that precise tactic. Now the other teammate is trying to form a secret alliance with me via Private Messaging.
